  2. I know this is a stupid question, but is print appropriate for addressing outer envelopes for invites? I am hand addressing my invites, and my print is much cleaner and more modern looking. I prefer it, but don't remember receiving any printed invites. Thanks!
  3. I just want to give Morgan a public THANK YOU!!! She helped me out tremendously and it is much appreciated!
  4. Hi everyone! My invites were done through White Aisle, and they can't make rsvp cards for me in time. So I am trying to make a small enclosure card to insert with our invites telling everyone our wedding website so that they can rsvp. I would like to find some clipart flowers to match my invites. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
  5. We are also using a local photographer (Cancun) and paying about $800 for four hours of service.
  6. I'm glad you asked this, as I have been wondering the same thing! I am definitely planning on doing something for my WC. She has been amazingly helpful and patient!!! I just don't know what to do.
  7. Well, i don't know much about cardstock weight, but it's definitely not flimsy or anything like that. I ordered the ivory. The paper has a jagged-type edge (I'm sure there is a term for that) that I really like. I also ordered that flat-printing, not letterpress. I also like the fact that at White Aisle, you can order any amount above 25, not just in increments of 25. I ordered 30. Hope that helps somewhat!
  8. That's the invite we ordered! I posted about it here... http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t16640 White Aisle was so incredibly easy to work with. I know it says 3-4 weeks on their website, but I just ordered them last Thursday and they arrived on Monday!!! They are gorgeous and the quality is great.
  9. I love it - but I would definitely keep the ruffle. Ir makes it much more charming.

  11. After changing my mind about a trillion times, I finally decided on my invites. I got the proof today and I love it!!! Thank you to all of you who gave your input ~ it really helped!
  12. I know you need to be in Cancun three working days prior to your wedding (for a civil ceremony). We are getting married on a Friday and were planning on arriving on the Tuesday before. Is that enough time?
  13. I got this one from James Allen. The pave goes almost all of the way around, but there is a small sizing band. It's beautiful! Ladies Platinum Rounded French Cut Pave Diamond Wedding Ring

  15. Thanks to everyone for their input. I still can't decide what to do! Jean-Marcus ~ Thanks for swapping out the colors! I really love the green one with the pink flower!

  17. I posted an invite yesterday that I love, but don't feel lends enough of a Mexican feel for my wedding. I definitely want my invites to have that Mexican vibe, but without being "themed" if you know what I mean. No maracas, sombreros, or margarita glasses for me!!! I also like the invite posted below, but don't love it. I am looking for something along these lines, though. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  18. Okay...several questions here! 1. I loooove this invite. I am getting married in Mexico. Does this give you a Mexico vibe at all, even though the colors are not very Mexicoi-sh? 2. I was just engaged in January and am getting married in June. I did not send STD's since it's such a short engagement. How early should I send invites? We are sending them as a formality since we want to invite some people that won't be able to come, like grandparents. 3. Is it tacky to put rsvp to an e-mail address on the invite? I do not want to include rsvp cards, since I will pretty much already know who is coming. Thanks!
  19. Well I went back to the store with my mom today and ordered the dress I had posted about last week! It's so exciting and such a relief to check that off my list. Here it is: This one is ivory, which is the color I ordered it in: This pic is blurry, but you can see the bottom: I love the back:
  20. I agree that it is a very classic look. I am considering doing the same!
  21. I believe I read on Trip Advisor that those Secrets Resorts were running behind schedule. I would not want to risk it ~ I don't think it's worth the stress! We originally wanted to get married at the new Excellence Playa Mujeres, which just opened in November. We decided against it for out June wedding, but we are going to honeymoon there after our wedding at the Hilton. Could something like that be a possibility for you?
