    This guy Matt is one lucky dude...if he's really the ONLY videographer there. He really does need to get some of his videos online though...It's just much easier to show your work online these days.

    wow, everyone on here is so helpful. that sucks that the photog's house burned down. hopefully it will turn out that she's able to shoot the wedding. i wish i lived in the keys...i've only been as far as miami : )

    Hey guys, Sorry I've been out of the loop. I was in Charlotte for a photography workshop. I think Jill Higgins provided you with some good info. If you're still looking for a band, I recommend Triple Lindy. Their website is: Triple Lindy They definitely have a coastal, sort of casual laid back style...that you'll either love or hate. Well it really just depends on the style of your wedding venue...

    Hey guys, I have a wedding scheduled for later this year in the Bahamas. I'm the photographer. We're going to be shooting near/at the Atlantis for the ceremony, but I'll also be doing an engagement style shoot before the wedding. Does anyone have any advice on a quiet or less touristy place I can take the couple that's not too far from the Atlantis?

    Ann's right... Having a photographer that's familiar isn't necessarily an advantage. It is almost always more inspiring to shoot somewhere I've never been before... The important thing is to just make sure your photog has a little bit of time to familiarize him/herself with the area prior to the big day...the day before or even the day of should be just fine.
