I'm sorry for all this. Big hug to you! I'm glad she wrote and apologized... sometimes weddings and the stress can make people a little crazy but in the end it sounds like she really loves you Please have the candy buffet still and enjoy it! I know all the guests will, too!

I've ordered from them twice now and I haven't had to pay any duty (just the shipping costs). Both times they've also arrived really quickly.

Just getting caught up on this thread. I LOVE CANDY BUFFETS!!! I only heard of this a few days ago and I've been dreaming of one ever since. I think they're fantastic... so much fun, and they're so beautiful when laid out with all the colors... heaven! I so want to have one in Mexico but worry about melting on the beach. It almost makes me want to have an AHR just to have a candy buffet I'm glad you sent Maura's email... it was perfect. I also agree to let your FI deal w/ it from this point... and just stay strong but non personal if she brings it up w/ you... since you're paying for it in the end it's your decision and I know that it's going to look fantastic and everyone will be raving about it... I think I need to go get some candy now

I'm horrible with secrets like this, but I'm looking forward to his reaction in Mexico when he gets them. I think he'll be floored b/c it will sooo unexpected and b/c it's so unlike me! I thought I would share a few pics from my boudoir shoot last week! My FI is going to be so surprised b/c this is so unlike me... but after seeing all the beautiful BD photos from girls on this site I decided to give it a go! It seemed like a great idea two months ago when I booked, and then the week beforehand I was so nervous and just about canceled... lol... anyway, it ended up being fun and the photographer immediately put me at ease. I'll attach just one pic for now b/c my pics always come out huge so I want to check on the sizing... then I'll post a few more. I hope you guys like them!

I know... the regulations are crazy! Just as I was finishing my invites I found out about the height restrictions. It would have been $10 something to ship my boxed invites. We ended up cutting each box down w/ an xacto knife to get it below the 0.75 inch requirement... doing that dropped it down from $10 something a box to $1.15... it doesn't make any sense. I actually think you should bling out the topper - but I know I read on your previous post that your FI isn't into that. I'm perhaps biased b/c I love the bling, but I actually think in this case it would tone down the ornateness of the stand (if that's what you want) and if you did the cake topper in a few of your colors it may add a more modern element (if that's what you're going for). That's just my opinion, but as I said I'm biased towards the bling. I ordered my cake toppers from the same place as you (I believe) and I'm adding turquoise, clear, and lime green crystals... loving it so far!
