paradisus riviera maya site review
JHarwood2Be replied to yamille's topic in Riviera Maya and Cancun Accommodations & Site
Yay! I am so happy for you. I knew you'd like the Paradisus. We met with Perla and we liked her too. They are lucky to have 2 great coordinators. -

The rise of C-Sections and its risks. (Information on C-Sections)
JHarwood2Be replied to Birdie07's topic in Random Thoughts
I have been a L&D nurse for only a short while (1 and 1/2 year). But I also have to agree with a lot of what Sarah has said. Our primary c-sections are either for life-saving measures or a failed induction because the body was not ready to labor. Other reasons would be untreated herpes, breech or transverse presentation, not just because a patient wants one. We also give our patients a lot of time to change their cervix. We do run into the time crunch when water has been broken for over 18 hours with no signs of imminent delivery. Moms and babies can get very sick. I think our docs give a very fair trial of labor, for even the slightest change is great if mom and baby are tolerating it. We also make sure to not admit someone if they are not in active labor. If they are uncomfortable, we will treat with pain meds if desired. I'm disappointed to hear that TBOBB was biased and mis informative. I will probably still see it. -
That's why I won't even look at airfare for April. I simply don't want to know! The price will come down once they have some competitors selling tickets. I am also naively believing that this whole fuel situation will improve before our wedding too. If prices remain that high, then Cancun is in big trouble with no tourists!

Hotel near EDR
JHarwood2Be replied to jcoe34's topic in Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya, Cancun & surrounding areas
I don't think that EDR would go for that. I doubt they will allow day passes for the entire wedding, including bride and groom. I would be very clear with them about your plans upfront, so that there aren't any surprises later. Good luck! -

There are two Azul Hotels being built. Azul Fives and Azul (View) Sensatori. All Azul properties are all ages. The Eldorado Resorts are adults only. Prices are a little less than Azul Beach. I have only seen only a few pics. When we toured Azul Beach we were shown a video of the new hotels. I can't believe we booked a hotel site unseen, but I think it will turn out really nice!

We just set a date at Azul View/Sensatori for April 25, 2009. I really like the Paradisus too! I think it is beautiful there. I found much better pricing and Azul View seems to be the cheapest. We also liked the Westin Puerto Vallarta. If anyone ever wants pics, just let me know. But they are already so booked up for Saturdays. Good luck in your decision!

I need some help girls! I'm working on my website at wedding window. I want to put a song in it. I have itunes and my files are protected mp4 files. Where do I go to get an mp3 or even a wav.file? I don't want to download limewire or any other software on my computer. Someone here might know, it is BDW afterall.....

Question regarding connecting flight w/in the US to Mexico...
JHarwood2Be replied to JaimeLynne's topic in Honeymoon Forum
I don't think 2 hours is necessary since you are starting off with a domestic flight. Have fun in PV and at the Westin, we just stayed there last weekend. I loved it! -
Yikes, I just read the fine print. The following conditions serve to define student eligibility for the Promotion: 1. Individual must possess a valid e-mail address at a U.S. educational institution which contains the domain suffix .edu; AND 2. Individual must be a student at a U.S. educational institution and must be actively enrolled in at least 0.5 course credit and be able to provide proof of enrollment upon request. Microsoft or an appointed vendor may contact you to verify that you are a current student. If documentation is not provided indicating that you are a current student, you will be liable to reimburse Microsoft for the full retail cost of the software ($679). What do you guys think? I'm probably too chicken to do it now!

Believe me, I know what you are going through. You and I have the same taste in AI resorts! We are also looking at a little less than $200 per person per night. We looked at the Westin in PV and it is about $200 per ROOM per night. It's hard to justify that each person would eat & drink $100 worth of food make it equal. But an AI just seems so fun and relaxing. UGHH!

Finding the strength to continue to plan my wedding
JHarwood2Be replied to SgtPepperette's topic in Random Thoughts
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. It is just so tragic and heartbreaking. I lost my parents 3 years ago suddenly so I can relate. I agree to take a break from the wedding plans and deal with one thing at a time. After awhile it may be therapeutic to plan. -

I'm not surprised! I have a hard time believing that they are having all these children for the right reason-because they want them or that they enjoy the publicity. I also can't figure out how her uterus hasn't ruptured already! Even more, I wonder how she even has any bladder control after carrying and delivering all those babies? I'll admit though, I'll watch them on TLC because it is all so ridiculous, that it is fascinating!
