  1. Congrats! I know I got a little excited when I graduated!
  2. Ughhhhhh. I'm so disheartened right now. My TA told me tonight that the 4 lowest room categories are sold out for my wedding weekend. The resort is pretty pricey as it is, now it is super expensive. I sent an email out to my friends and family, so they wouldn't be surprised by such a high price. I suggested that they could stay somewhere else and come to the wedding on a day pass. If anyone has any suggestions, advice or access to cheap rates, please let me know. For those of you near my date, you might want to check and make sure what availability is open for your guests. I have even contemplated changing resorts, if that tells you anything!
  3. I haven't made my OOT bags yet, but I plan on including those. I have gotten eaten alive one too many times in Riviera Maya and St. Maarten. So I think I will include 1 or 2 wipes in the bags and then also suggest insect repellent on my packing list that I will include on my website.
  4. There is only one good things that came out of my insomnia last night. I discovered all of the wedding items available at Target.com. They have some really cool stuff. Enjoy! Wedding + Anniversary : Party Planning : Home : Target
  5. Each attachment is 50 points to open. So it is best to save the attachments to your computer so you don't open the same one more than once. You earn points by participating in threads. I also enjoy to deposit points in the bank and earn interest. If only I were that good in real life!
  6. Congratulations and welcome to the forum! I am also getting married in the Riviera Maya area at Azul Sensatori. I think it will be a great resort when it opens, but not too budget friendly unfortunately. If I remember correctly from my research, Playacar Palace has a small guest limit, like 30 people. Good luck in your search!
  7. Your dress is very similar to mine, very pretty if you ask me! I like the 2nd up-do and the 2nd pair of earrings. I haven't even started on the accessories yet. I was thinking hair half up, half down, but I don't know how practical it will be with the wind and heat.
  8. Hi Ania, Welcome to BDW. Congratulations on your engagement! We'll see you over at the Azul Sensatori thread!
  9. 30 to 48 to 91! Oh you poor thing, that is a nightmare adding all those people on last minute!
  10. You girls using Elizabeth are going to have beautiful photos. I love to follow her blog!

I'm kinda hoping Polly or Teethdh reads this, and has some insight. Who is Louis? Nancy and Fabio are the coordinators that we all have been working with. Maybe you need to speak to one of them?
  12. Welcome! You are getting married the day after us. I thought they were only doing 2 weddings per day, perhaps one of the brides posting is yours?
  13. kerryjbrown-your tables will be beautiful! Very good job!
  14. This better be a rumor.....if not that is just downright sad.
  15. Wow, so far the vote is unanimous for Mori Lee. I just don't know if I have the patience to hold out for a department store. There were some cute possibilities last season, but I wasn't ready to decide then.
  16. Thanks everyone for your input so far. I just got sick of looking at them myself and your opinions are helping greatly. 17. I'll try to answer a few questions. Typically the ceremony and reception are in 2 different areas. Also there may be people swimming nearby in the pool or at the beach. As far as I know they do not clear the pool out if there is a wedding.
  18. I'm looking for aqua bridesmaid dresses. I will have 3, I plan on buying their dresses for them. I am debating between holding out until the spring collections come out and finding something at a department store (Macy's, Nordstrom, Dillards). The dresses they have out now are darker shades of blue. I haven't found anything at jcrew.com or ann taylor celebrations that I like. Or I go with a bridesmaid dress. Alfred Angelo and David's don't have the exact color that I am going for. Mori Lee has some dresses in turquoise that I like. Mori Lee 732 Mori Lee 735 Then I came across Charsa.com. Beautiful dresses, but expensive! Theresa Jill I think I am going to try and go to the bridal shop near me that carries the line to see the colors in person and some sample dresses. What do you think?
  19. I have been playing around with these and for some reason I am not totally satisfied. I am trying to go for a more of an elegant feel, than a cutesy beachy feel. They seem too plain, which I might be happier with if I print them on a textured or lightly tinted paper. I also don't feel like they flow, so maybe using the same clipart on all 3 pages? If so, which image? My colors are aqua, with hints of lime and bright pink. Thanks for looking!
