HI girls! So much going on in this thread, and I missed it all. I've been so busy packing and doing all last minute things. I have to say, Elizabeth (the Edenh's onsite coordinator) is really great to work with. Make sure you guys send her pics of what you want. I've been sendig pics of how I want my cake to look like. I have no choice but to take my own decor, but she spoke to the chef/baker and he agreed on making my 3 tier Dominican cake with a firmer frosting. Exciting because I don't want my cake topper to sink into the cake! Hope you guys get a chuckle out of my cake topper! and some of my packing...what a mess!...so far 11 bags (being distributed between my family, my fi's family, and the wedding party)

I just bought my 100 Satin chair sashes from AA Linen on ebay. I totally recommend them. Great quality. eBay Store - wedding party restaurant chair cover: organza sash, satin sash, seft-tie satin

I've tried the "pills". The one's I bought are called Chaser pills. They really work!! I always have a bottle in my medicine cabinet. You can find them im Walgreens or CVS drug stores by the Tylenol or Advil usually. You can take them while your drinking or after. I usually take 1 before I go to bed and I wake up great. Especially after drinking Grey Goose and Red bull!!!! (That stuff can sneek up on you!)

I'm buying my sashes from Ebay. It's been the cheapest. I need enough sashes for 90 chairs so that was the only way for me. I ordered a few samples of organza from the international sellers on ebay (Asia) and they are very good quality. I decided on Satin from a vendor in Georgia since I'm pressed for time. Just search on Ebay under wedding chair sashes.

Trish, I'm arriving the 21st. Omg, you're going to be there for my mob of family and Friends (90 in total) taking over the hotel!!! Yes, my wedding is the first "large" wedding. They don't know WHAT to do with us!! I'll be there 7 days, Oct 21-28. Hopefully you'll get to see my wedding!

Hello Edenh Brides, If you're looking for a religious ceremony (non-catholic) you're better off finding him on your own. The resort wasn't much help. I'm so happy I found Pastor York. After countless google searches I came across his website and emailed him. He was quick to respond and sent me my ceremony and sand ceremony readings already (with option to alter if needed). Hey ladies, I just found my centerpieces today! I'm so excited about them. I started with these ideas first... or Now these: NO glass = less hassle!!!! Just Pillar holders. The best part they were $1.99 on clearance in Bed Bath and Beyond. I wipped all the shelves in every South Miami Store!! Ha! I'm doing 3 per table.

Omg! I'm such a dork. Courtney help me out and just did a trial run. Basically put some tape on the back of the pic, place it on the 2nd panel. Then pour the sand behind that panel. I removed the 3rd panel. Put some tape across the first panel to prevent any sand fallling into it and that's it!! Thanks anyway.

Ok dumb question (maybe), I've seen some girls pics that used the umbra Ether frame for the sand ceremony but where able to do add the sand AROUND a picture. I'm not sure how they did it. Maybe using glue? and which panel did they glue the pic? Do I sound crazy? lol Any ideas let me know please!

B&J2008- I decided to take my things with me too. American will allow 2 bags (under 50lbs) free internationally. Thank god! I told all my family memebers 1 of 2 is reserved for my stuff. I really hope it makes it all in one piece. That's next on my list, starting buying luggage to put my stuff in. Oh and bubble wrap as well!
