Does anyone else hear cha-ching cha-ching cha-ching in their sleep?!!? Lordy this wedding is adding up fast! I think I will get a gift for the WC but I'm not so sure about all the cash tips. The photogragher especially b/c his price list is already outrageous. I know pics are expensive, but when you pay that kind of money here you get a whole lot more in the package.

That's b/c you got married in 2007. The rates for 2008 are different. The "free" wedding package costs $250 and then the miinister and legal fees are an additional $250. I confirmed this with the RIU Ochos Rios earlier this week.

I recently threw a baby shower at work for a co-worker and she gave me a set of wall flower plug-ins from bath and body works in my fav scent. It was a simple gift, but I love that my office smells good now! I think people appreciate any gift, no matter how big or small.

I make jewelry so I'm making jewelry to match wedding outfits for everyone who has thrown us a party, shower, etc. I have one person who is throwing me a shower but not coming to the wedding, so I'm making her a really nice necklace of pearls that she can wear anytime.

Chandlyn emailed me back and said that it was fine to ship items ahead of time. I askedher how to address the package, so when I hear back from her I will post her response. It seems as if her response depends on her mood at the time! $297, wow that's pretty high. Hopefully my items won't weigh that much. I really just want to ship 25 photo albums and 25 parasol umbrellas so that I don't have to take up so much space in my luggage.

Hey Yolanda, I just noticed that you are arriving on the 9th and getting married on the 11th. I am also arriving on the 9th but I was told I couldn't legally get married until the 12th. They told me we had to be there 2 full days and that the travel day doesn't count. You may want to contact someone just to be certain! I would be so upset to have my day messed up due to a technicality!

My wedding is April 12th, but we will be there April 9-19th so maybe i can sneak a peek at some of your weddings that are earlier in the week : ) See ya in Jamaica Mon!

I bought some inexpensive beach tote bags from Garden Ridge (I think they were $1.50 each) and I'm putting a photo album, chrome luggage tag with Jamaica 2008 engraved on it, sunscreen, personalized lip balm, and maybe a paper fan or paper parasol umbrella in each one. Then just for the women, I'm putting in a spa set that has a loofa sponge, wooden hair brush/mirror set, and few other items. I wanted to do customized beach towels, but getting them there is beginning to seem impossible!
