Went to another Dillards today and found a $200 dress for $23!! I love sales And by the way, you can shop the sale online! There is no separate link to the sale, but if you click dresses and go to the last few pages you will get to the sale stuff.

Don't know where this thread should go, but if you are still looking for GM attire, MOB, MIL, etc they are having a great sale at Dillards. I went shopping with my mom tonight and she found 3 dresses that we both loved (which never happens!) and the best part is they were each under $30! The sale is 50% then an additional 40%. Happy shopping

Congratulations! I'm so excited to hear another great review. I think we all worry so much about the little details but it sounds like everything was great! Did you have to pay to have the RIU staff hang your silk flowers on the gazebo?

I am in desperate need of one room for April 12th and the website says the resort is totally booked. So since there are so many of us getting married during that week I thought I would check to see if anyone has rooms still blocked that they may not use. HELP!!!!!!

I chose RIU b/c I have 2 friends that did destination weddings in 2006. One went to RIU Negril and is still raving about what a fabulous time she had and that the wedding day was totally stress free. The other went to Couples and came back with only 4 pictures from her wedding b/c the photography was so expensive and had very few guests b/c no kids were allowed and the trip was quite pricey. But honestly i think its hard to go wrong in paradise!

Maybe I will just wear it for the ceremony and take it off for formal pics. too many decisions!!!!

To be totally honest, I'm really starting to think that b/c so many of us are contacting Chandlyn, Valeria, Carolina, and Michael at once and all about the same thing, they might be trying to make things stricker. So, I don't know that a petition will really change anything. A petition w/o some real threat behind it is just a list of names. If we are not stating that we will take our business elsewhere (which I'm not in the position to do!), we are just drawing more attention to ourselves. I am going to be firm when I get there about stating I do not need his service, but I don't want to tick too many folks off that have the power to reck my day. That being said, if ya'll choose to do a petition more power to ya!!!! Just keep in mind that they do up to 18 weddings a week, 52 weeks a year at the ROR alone, so you need more than 20 brides to make a ripple. IMO.

Calia- the picture in your signature is so pretty, it looks like one of those stock clip art images that you can download off the internet b/c it looks like a perfect moment captured! I know that has absolutely nothing to do with this thread... my bad. So while i'm off the subject, was your veil annoyingly (is that a word?) blowing in your face or was it ok? I can't decide if I want one or not.
