Congrats! Everything was beautiful, including you!!! I don't think I saw a pic of your dress before you left, it fit you perfectly.

I paid $300 for bustle, to take in the top and shorten dress. But I can see why yours is expensive, all the fabric on the back probably requires a lot more work. BTW, the dress is beautiful and you look perfect in it!

I saw this RIU on my way to ROR last month, one side looked almost done but the other side was still more like a frame of a hotel. It's purple, just like the ROR. I say go for it! If it's not ready you still get a fantastic vacation so what's to lose?

Every wedding I have seen with the GMs in colored shirts looks really really nice! I would have done that if my color wasn't hot pink!

As abstinence-until-marriage educator, I love hearing that so many of you have made this choice! There are so many benefits to waiting that go way beyond just having an amazing honeymoon!

I am a firm believer in being direct! Especially about things that can't be done over. If you don't tell them you want your bachlorette party at the resort, and then they don't plan it, you'll forever be upset about it. I would just say that since the only time you will have everyone together will be at the resort, that's where you want to have your party. You could even go "bar hoping" between the 3 bars that are open at night. I'm sure the bartenders will make ya'll special drinks and you might even get pulled up on stage by the entertainment people. KiKi hosts a lot of the shows and she will remember your name and face and will call you out! she even came to my wedding, i think she watched from the pool area.

I think i would have just worn a shorter veil. Mine was fingertip length and in the pictures of me walking down the aisle it is literally sticking straight up in the air! But it did make me feel more like a bride to have it.

I just stumbled across this thread tonight and 1st off I must say ya'll crack me up! But in all seriousness, my grandmother passed away on Valentines Day of this year from Colon cancer and had literally been constipated for her entire life. About year before she passed she had to have her intestines removed and had one of those bags attached to the outside of her stomach to collect all her BM. I have always had the attitude- what i don't know won't hurt me- especially about my health, but my perspective is changing on that and might just be joining ya'll on this.

We ate, did toasts, then cut cake. I don't know what the "proper" order for that stuff is, I was just in a hurry to get all the formal stuff done so we could go dance

I have seen pics of guys with shoes, flip flops, and barefoot. Our guys wore shoes b/c frankly I don't know what their feet look like and I didn't want them in all my pics!! My wedding was at 11 and I kept my dress on all day until I did a TTD session around 4ish. Then I had a short white dress to wear the rest of the night. But I saw tons of brides while I was there that still had their dress on at 11pm. Happy Planning!
