  1. Davids Bridal carries maternity size BM dresses and I don't think you have to order too far in advance from them.
  2. The sand in Jamaica was really soft and warm. I had on flipflops for the ceremony but kicked them off as soon as the ceremony was over cuz i wanted to feel the sand in my toes!
  3. I hope you have the most amazing time!!! Enjoy every moment and take lots of pics!

Maybe you can take a picture of that dress to stores in your area and ask them if they have anything similar.
  5. We really only fight once or twice a year but it's always about me being junky. I know it drives him crazy cuz he is slightly OCD but I just can't help it. Clutter doesn't bother me at all, in fact I kinda like but he needs everything to be perfect. He wants our house to look like a model home that no one lives in. I on the other hand feel like i'm at home and should be allowed to kick my shoes off. So we each try to be considerate of each other and I can tell when my junkiness has reached his tolerance level and I clean up. But this has been the same ever since we were in college so we knew what we were getting into.
  6. You were absolutely stunning! I love you dress, the custom aisle runner, the make-up, i love it all! And those Dominican salons are the best!

I fully intended too, but DH and I were pulled in so many directions it slipped both our minds. I intended to give them each $50. I would suggest putting the tips in individual envelops and asking the best man or someone to be in charge of it. We didn't even get to give Chandlyn her tip and thank you card until the day before we left b/c we couldn't ever catch up with her after our wedding.
  8. I can't eat tomatoes b/c they make my face break out, and i don't really like them anyway. For those of you already doing it, would the soup still be good without the tomatoes?
  9. We were always on a packed bus, so a couple of bucks from everyone adds up to a pretty nice tip. And it was always hard to get change anywhere so we had to give them whatever we had on us. The only person who demanded a big tip was our tour guide at Dunns River.

  11. This is just from memory, hope it helps! Have a great time!!!!! Bus driver $5 (i assume you mean the driver from the airport) Chandlyn $50 Waitstaff- $3-4 each night at dinner $10- we sat in the same place for breakfast everyday so we just tipped the girl on the last day Bartender $1 here and there but we didn't always have cash with us Steel Band- we bought a couple of their CDs Videographer- NA Excursion Host- $3-4 for the driver
  12. I've been married for a little over 2 months but we have been together for 8 years. His family is DYING for us to have baby so they call me on Mothers day "just in case". sounds cute but its really annoying b/c they know that we have no intentions of having kids anytime in the foreseeable future. We are both starting our own businesses and have lots of other things going on but they just want a baby to play with and dress up! ARG, ok so i'm a lil frustrated.

I will have been on the pill 10 yrs when I come off after the wedding and I'm a little worried that its a long time ..... Don't worry about how long you have been on the pill. Its not like other medications that have to work their way out of your system. Once you're off your natural hormones should kick back into gear and start regulating everything.
  14. We picked Jamaica b/c of affordability and the # of flights between Atl and Jamaica daily. Then I wanted to go to Negril, simply b/c i think the word sounds more romantic than Ocho Rios but then when i saw how much there is do in and near Ochie I changed my mind. Then the clincher for the ROR was the free wedding package. I didn't even research other resorts after that. We really had the best time of our life and I would recommend the ROR to anyone. I didn't even find this forum until way after i had selected the ROR but then i felt way more confident to see so many other brides had great experiences.

Sorry, I should use more commas. Mo is right, I just brought the flowers. The cakes are usually either 2 or 3 layers. We had 25 people and there was enough for everyone. The bottom layer was about 12 inches across, so it wasn't a huge cake but it was enough.
  16. I like the black and white version too! I think I can do that in iphoto. That definitely makes the beach chairs less noticeable. And don't worry, that wasn't one of my pro pics so edit away!

And honestly I don't know if Chandlyn even used all of the petals that I gave her.
  18. Sorry I can't post the picture here, but here is the website Mary's Bridal - Designer Bridal Gowns, Wedding Gowns, Quinceanera, Promenade Style: #S08 3Y731
  19. Sounds like fun! I love this pic, but I hate the background- can you tinker with it?
  20. Your cake was so cute and I hope you are packing that outfit for your trip cuz those colors look so good on you!
  21. Those are great. I love the very last one, that's one to be framed for sure!
  22. Fabulous! I can tell you put A LOT of time and thought into everything and it really paid off!
