  3. Hi there, I do have pictures to share, but I'm not sure how I post them? We have also booked Bradley for as our photographer. I talked to AV about two set ups. ONe for the ceremony and one for the reception, and they gave me a decent quote. We were thinking of taking our speakers down there, but we still need a microphone, but only for the ceremony. I asked about ordering bulk flowers, and we were quoted $6.00/per daisy. I thought that was kind of crazy. I was thinking about contacting the flower market or flower cart? We decided not do go with the block because the timeshares were so much more affordable and they come with a kitchen, so we're paying the extra fees at the Westin and staying at the Club Regina. We'll have a welcome/rehearsal dinner elsewhere. I'm going to go and find the thread for the Westin. Yay! other Westin brides! Steph

  5. Hi there, I just saw this forum. i'm new to this board, but I joined weight watchers last year and lost weight with no exercise, but managed to gain it all back over the summer. NOw, I'm getting married in June, so I'm back on in full force. I lost a pound this week. Not much, but it's something. I've only done it online, but I am going to the gym faithfully. I have been for awhile now, but I think my metabolism has slowed down big time. It's that age thing. Anyway, good luck everyone. It works, and am positive to know it will work for me to look my bewst in JUne. Cheers! stephanie
  6. Hi everyone! I introduced myself on the newbie list, and received a very warm welcome, and wanted to say hi here. I also have a few questions. For anyone getting married on the beach. Are you all using a microphone. It seems like it will be quite loud, and I want people to hear us. We are just using an Ipod, and the hotel will charge us for two set ups for this. ONe for the beach and one for the reception. I'm quite annoyed, and looking for any suggestions. we were thinking of purchasing our own portable speaker system, but we'll still need a microphone. Also, the Westin seems to want to handle everything vendors wise, music, flowers, photographer. I'd like to secure my own, I think. After what I've read, my choices are much wider than I thought. It's crazy. Anyway, any insight you have would help a great deal. I know someone answered me on the other board (sorry, I don't remember your name), but she only used food & beverage. I'm feeling like I'm way behind. Our wedding is in June! Sorry so long, but I appreciate your help! Stephanie
  7. So, our ceremonu will be on the beach and our reception is going to be at the bugambillias terrace. (sp). We loved the fire pit and the way the Westin morphs into all these colors at sunset. That's why we chose the terrace. Still discussing the menu.
  8. Hi there, I've just found this forum last night, and have I'm so excited to be in touch with other brides getting married at the Westin. We are set for June 8, 08. Our planner at the Westin has been Lorena. We visited last year in May and fell in love with the architecture and all the colors! Right now, I have been under the impression we had to go through the hotel to hire all the vendors, but it seems that is not true. Are you going with outside flower vendors and such? Our wedding is 5 months away, and I'm highly confused, but know things will come together. Congratulations and glad to be here! Stephanie
  9. Hello! My name is Stephanie, and we are getting married at the Westin in Los Cabos on June 8, 08. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed now, but getting very excited. I wish I had found this forum a few months back because I've been a bit confused with the vendor situation. I was under the impression that the hotel had to handle all the details including photography, flowers, etc. But,. is it only food and beverage they must handle? I appreciate your feedback and looking forward to the months ahead.
