Hey... I think I'm getting ripped off! I spoke to Yarai about two weeks ago. She quoted me $5/OOT bag for guest room delivery, and $2/OOT bag to hand them out at check-in.

I just spoke to Paulina today and one of the first things she told me is that she handles makeup/hair for weddings. She made it sound as if either one of her assistants or herself would show up to do my hair/makeup.

My fiance and I decided on Dreams as well. We're allotting about 1 hour for photos. While we are taking pictures we plan on setting up a small cocktail reception for our guests with cocktails, appetizers, and a Mariachi Band. As for your guests dancing, I think it just depends on where at Dream you are having the reception, and what your guest list is like. I'd probably just try to designate a small dance floor so people won't feel awkward dancing. Based on my meeting with Yarai at Dreams, the cocktail hour is included for 20 guests if you select the gold package. After the 20th person, they charge $28/person for hours d'vours. Alcohol is open bar and included.

Hello.. my fiance and I are thinking of sending a message in a bottle for our save the dates. We like the ones at this site: Plastic Bottles Glass Bottles Online Wholesale - Bottles.us but they require us to buy too many - 1 case (363 bottles with cork). We only need about 70. Price would come out to about 60 cents per bottle. Cheapest we found elsewhere for bottle and cork was about 90 cents. If anyone is interested in a group buy let us know... We can ship to you but it would be easier if someone in the SF Bay Area is interested so we can just drive it over! Thanks!

Just got back from a site visit of Sheraton, Casa del Mar, and Dreams. The beaches at Sheraton and Dreams are both not swimmable. Not sure about Casa del Mar. There is a beach about 10 minutes away from these resorts that is supposed to be swimmable though.

We just did a site visit at the Sheraton and this is also what Lucy told us. The resort is much bigger in person than in the pictures so I can see how they will be far enough apart - one location is at the far end of the hotel and the other location is not within viewing distance.

They also have Home Depot, Mailboxes Etc., and a Walmart.

Has anyone used Fiestas Los Cabos as a wedding planner? Any info would be great, esp. how were they to work with, what were prices like, etc. Thanks so much!!

We're thinking of having our wedding at Sheraton too... I'm pretty sure the site fee is waived as long as the room minimum is met. For the reception, there is food/beverage minimums for the D'Cortez restaurant, but not for Palapa Fiesta or Tortugas Beach. We've been working with Lucy who is great.
