Don't listen to your FMIL... What matters is that this is one of the happiest days of you and your FI's life and that you've worked so hard to make everything great. And trust me... They look great! I am even borrowing your template!
We registered at Williams-Sonoma, Macys, and Crate & Barrel. I'm most excited about the ice cream maker and cake turn table (I have a sweet tooth). Also excited about (no surprise) cookie cooling racks ~ it will be perfect timing for baking and sending off Christmas cookies.

I found a really cute saying to use whenever i figure the container out...
To toss in the air and sprinkle around
To shower the couple so that joy will abound
When Trish and Matt exit as a pair
Please joyously toss your petals high in the air By the way, I love your saying! Really cute!
You can put it in a bucket, pail, or box filled with sand, pebbles, or something else to hold them upright. I am making my own cones out of cardstock, but I know there are sites out there that sell them. Here are some inspiration pics:
Thanks for the tip! I hope their pricing is better than the other vendors I've been contacting!
Leia, I just sent them a quote request. I went to Fun & Motivation.Corporate Entertaiment & Production Specialists for Mexico Incentives & Group Travel. Destinations Cancun, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.
I like them both, but I would probably go with the beige because I think I would wear them more. But if you're really loving the coral, definitely go with that! And I am loving the dress!!
I like the one with the handle. I have many commuter mugs, but the ones I keep reusing are the ones with the handles - it's easier to juggle the mug while holding keys or other things. I also sometimes hook the handle onto my bag.

I hope they won't flatten out, but I think the flowers are pretty resilient and can be fluffed out. I don't think I'll have time when i get down to Cabo to wrap the fans or attach the flowers.
I got the flowers from Silk Orchid Flowers
It turned out cheaper to buy the flowers on the stalks instead of the individual heads. I just cut them off the stalk when they arrived. Good luck!
Welcome to the forum Gloria! I'm getting married in Los Cabos too on Nov. 9, 2008 at Dreams. There are tons of ideas here. Let me know if I can help with anything.
Here is a website I came across: Project Wedding - Wedding planning, wedding vendor reviews, wedding photos, and more!
They have tons of pictures for everything - hair, cakes, decor, dresses... Just thought I would share!
Mel, I have the same problem. =( People are usually shocked when I tell them how old I am. I agree with the other girls - make up and definitely false eyelashes help. Also, try adding shading under your cheekbones to create a coutouring effect.

LOL... Agreed! I showed my FI those signs and that was the first thing he said: "Hey!? Why is the Bride's so much bigger??"
