  1. I came across this site Creativebag.com. They sell really cute "emergency kits," which are admittedly on the pricey side. But thought it might give everyone some cool ideas for other things (like we need any more!) to throw into OOT bags and to help us assemble our own bridal emergency kits. That's it for now... I have to go before my FI bans me from the Internet!

    Hello

    Congrats and welcome!
  3. Welcome and congrats! Lots of info here!

  5. My fans are similar to Leia's and for those, I used 5/8" ribbon and wrapped them really tightly and had the ribbon overlap a bit. For each fan, I measured about 36 inches. I bought some of my ribbon at Michael's but it was pretty pricey, even though the ribbon was on sale. It was about $2 per spool. I ended buying more ribbon here: BBCrafts - Premier quality Ribbon, Pouch, Tulle, Satin Cord and Wedding Related Products Supplier It was much, much cheaper - I got a HUGE spool of 5/8" satin ribbon for about $9 and it shipped quick.

  7. We did a photo booth strip for our STD and a board pass invite for the invitation (we're STILL working on them!!). If we're not too crafted out and recuperate from making the invites, we will make the passports to put area/guest info into the OOT bags.
  8. Sorry to hear that Kendra, that really really sucks. But I think it worked out for the best and like the other girls said, it's not worth the stress on what should be you and your FI's happiest day.
  9. You can include a short description of each member of the wedding party and their relationship to you/your FI. You can also add a thank you if anyone went above and beyond in helping you put together the wedding. Also, some brides include a little description about different traditions and symbols in the ceremony (e.g. meaning of the unity candle, or any other tradition).
  10. Welcome and congrats! Not sure where Mackinac Island is, but it sounds likes somewhere I want to go!
