Opps I just freakin posted on the wrong thread... i obviously just go to places and dont have a clue where I am. I have been here. I thought it was too tourist-y for a wedding. I thought about getting married in HI and thought my options were only this (probably should have looked at other places). Anyhow I stayed here for just the memorial weekend and it was a bride factory. I thought I was still in Japan as well. I am sure the weddings were beautiful but I just kept walking in the middle of one every time I left the building. This hotel is very nice and I would go back anyday!

If you havent spoken to her in almost 3 years is she technically your friend? Don't waste the invite. If someone whom I havent spoken to in years sends me an invitation, I would feel as if I have to go ONLY because I got an invitation and well, if its a destination wedding and I have to spend money to get there then I certainly wouldnt go. I think I would go out my way and spend money to go to a wedding if it was my close friend or family member. So dont worry I dont think you will cause problems. If your friends ask you why you didnt invite her, just tell them that you two havent talked for over 3 years.

I freakin can not believe that!!!!! WTF?? I have been through many of customs with my laptop and no one has ever asked me to turn it on. Ladies and Gent, next time you go through DO NOT ERASE YOUR STUFF... Just take the battery out and put it in your luggage or so purse and dont say a word!!!! Or just make sure the battery isnt charged and dont carry the plug in your carryon. THOSE MF!!! I am really upset about this!

I get that alot too! One time the Jahovah Witness came to my house, and FI answered and they said, "Is your daughter home?" lol You should have seen his face!!! Also, one time I was at a Parent Teacher Conference (as the teacher) and my student's parent just started laughing... and he said, "Ummm please dont take this the wrong way, but how old are you? I am worried that my sons teacher is in highschool" ( I was actually pissed off) I think extra mascara/eyelashes and makeup will do the trick for your wedding. Maybe if some of your hair is up. Believe me no one will mistake you for his child bride! You are going to be beautiful!
