"Love Song" is great too but maybe a little fast for a first dance though. 311 does a slowed down version that could work. Good Luck!
  4. OMG, I am totally here LOL right now. It looks like you had such a great time!! Love your blue hair too! Way too cute!
  5. Corey, Wow you looked so beautiful and happy. Congrats!! I love your dress and Veil so much. They look fantastic together!
  6. Oh my gosh your hair is so LONG and pretty! You defiantly shouldn't put any weave glue on it. I really don't think you will have any problems with your hair as long as it's up like that. Your hair looks really healthy so hopefully that should help reduce poof. The hairstyles are gorgeous by the way! I'm sure they will use hairspray too which should help keep it in place.
  7. That was a great story. That was so sweet of you to take the time and chance on a strange dog. If you hadn't of done that the man may have been hours away before anyone could have notified him. I'm sure he was very thankful!
  8. Wow, words can't even express how bad that sucks. For some reason though I was under the assumption that a ring was insured for 30 days after it's purchased under the jewelry stores policy. I could be totally wrong though or perhaps "Stupidity" is not a covered loss.
  9. You look fantastic! You really have nothing to worry about. I'm sure your FI's jaw will drop when he sees you in it because you look so great and worked so hard.
  10. Wow, you looked great. The pics came out amazing. I can't believe you did the flowers yourself. They came out fantastic!
  11. There was a thread about Rose Hall Resort already but I can't seem to find it. I have been to the Rose Hall Resort and we had a great time. It is newly renovated and most of the construction is done. We considered getting married at Half Moon because it is a beautiful resort. The prices are up there though, pretty close to the same as the Ritz's prices. There is another bride on the forum who is getting married at Rose Hall so hopefully she can give you some more insight. I think either place will be a great choice. Good Luck!
  12. I'm not a RUI bride, but I just wanted to say Congrats!! Can't wait to see the pics!
  13. Aahh... sorry. I love that band though. Very Classic. Hopefully someone else has a suggestion....

My FI wants a 4mm plain comfort fit palladium band, and I really didn't know anything about palladium until about a day ago. Any advice anybody can provide about reputable sellers would be fantastic! Thanks! Steve's band is Palladium. It is made by Scott Kay and we bought it at Jared's. They had to order it but it came in about 10 days and he loves it. Scott Kay has a lot of nice pieces and should be relatively easy to find. Good Luck!
  15. We have been working with Saks Fifth Avenue for FI's suit. The salesman told us they are expecting a white/off white linen Hugo Boss suit in the next few weeks. You might call your local Saks or Neimans and see if they have it available.

    Hello!

Welcome to the forum! You will love it around here!!
  18. Ahh, Morgan. I'm so sorry to hear this. This kinda stuff makes me so mad. My car got egged bad last weekend and it messed up my paint. Don't people have any regard for others any more!!!
  19. Yeah, I don't recommend quick weaves. I'd be afraid of all the glue pulling your real hair out. I'm sure an updo will look great! Do you have pictures of styles you like that you can post? The oil that I use is from KeraCare. It has peanut oil, coconut oil and almond oil and is really light and smells great. I love Paul Mitchell products. I've never tried skinny though, might need to check it out. 3 weeks, wow that is so exciting!
  20. I hope people don't sign up thinking she would actually be their friend. I hate her. She is so self absorbed!
  21. I know exactly how you feel. My hair is considered the "good" texture hair too. But, when I was in Jamaica in January my hair frizzed within 10 minutes of being outside. I would do a trial run for sure ahead of time. Now, since it's Jamaica they will most likely be familiar with black hair, but might not be totally familiar with silkier "good" ethnic hair. Hope that makes sense. I think I'm going to bring my own oil with me too, because it's fantastic and I'm sure it's better than what they have. When I was there in January the best oil I could find was Pink Oil. I'm also going to get fusion extensions put in before the wedding and wear my hair half up half down. So hopefully most of my real hair will be protected from the humidity in the updo. On another note, wow you're less than a month away! Are you getting excited?
