Hilton Brides!

I received an email from her two days ago. But I still haven't received a response to an email I sent her over a week ago. Two days ago I sent her an emergency question and she responded the same day at like 11pm. I feel badly for her! I have no idea how she manages all of these emails from us! I thought I emailed her a lot, but now hearing how much you guys email her too....and I'm sure there are other brides we don't even know about. That is a lot of emails! I would not want that job! Indy - how early are you heading down there? I'm sad I'm going to miss you! We're going down there the weekend of the 20th with our parents to do a menu tasting and whatnot. I'm hoping there will be a wedding set-up so we can show them...how crazy if it would have been yours! We just missed you by a week! How many guests are you expecting? Are you going to post a planning thread? I'd love to see your stuff! I'm also curious to what all of the Hilton brides are choosing for their menus... -

Okay, so HOW did you manage to put all of that together AND work out TWICE A DAY?!?! I don't know that I've ever felt like more of a slacker! I am impressed! I absolutely adore your shoes, your dresses, and holy crap your BD book is FANTABULOUS. Like others have asked, who was your photographer?!? That book is incredible! (Although most of the credit goes to you!) Congratulations!!! So excited for you!! Oh, how are you planning to get all of that stuff down there? Are you just checking it all on the airplane? I still haven't decided how I want to handle all of that quite yet. -
Did they recently change your meds, or are these the same meds you've been on for awhile? I switched BC pills once and my boobs tripled in size almost over night. And I puked all the time. (When you said you throw up all the time, that's what made me think of it. I was going to all of these internists trying to figure out why the hell I puked 3 times a day and it took them a year to figure out it was the hormones in my BC pills.) BIG HUGS. I think the corset back would solve the dress problem. But I am concerned about what's going on with your hormones! Keep us posted...

Seriously?? My European counterparts get 1 to 3 years maternity leave and 3 months vacation. I swear we don't get anything done in August because everyone on the other side of the pond is on vacation. Most of those folks are on the mainland of Europe (and the 3 year maternity leaves are only in Germany), so maybe it's different in the UK. And this is a huge corporation...17,000 employees, so I think that helps. But I swear I thought our UK folks were covered under law for sick pay! That sucks! Most people get sick within a 5 year timespan! What do you do if that happens? Sheesh! That's nuts! Lucy! Let us know how everything turns out!!

Oh, I'm so sorry. I have a friend who is going through a similiar situation, but she's pregnant and hasn't worked at the company long enough to qualify for their maternity leave. (less than a year) So they are giving her 3 weeks off without pay, and she requested an additional 6 weeks off without pay and they said no. So, she's probably going to end up quitting. I'm so sorry you're dealing with the stress of this. These are the times I wished we lived in Europe where they get time off for everything!!! If it's a manpower issue, hopefully getting someone to cover for you will help. Good luck!!!

Oh, hun, you've got to come to Texas. Yes, I have a recipe....let me dig it up and I'll send it to you. I have no idea where it is at the moment, but it's actually quite simple to make! Chipotle's guacamole is still my favorite though... -

Guacamole is actually good for you!! Avocados are high in fat, but it's the good, essential fat that your body needs! (At least that's what I tell myself because I'm a guac addict, but I hear it's true!) -

Okay - the Clamydia (i don't know how to spell that) kills me. INSANE. Oh, and my nephew's name is actually a racial slur in some parts of the country. I won't even post it here. It's awful. And another reason I'm glad my SIL will be my ex-SIL soon. I am going to have to get seriously creative when printing my programs... Quote: Originally Posted by CaliaA07 I love Ainsleigh! Oh, I used to teach ESL at a high school and had several pregnant students. I used to have a list of their baby names, but the only ones I can remember now are: Filet Mignon and Formica When the 17 year old pregnant student told me she was naming her baby Filet Mignon whether it was a boy or a girl, I said "do you know what Filet Mignon means?" and she rolled her eyes and said "Ummm....no, I don't speak French. It just sounds pretty." That was years ago and I lost touch with all of those students, but I hope it was a boy, otherwise, (excuse the cheesiness), the girl would be treated like a piece of meat all her life! Oh, and I just remembered another one. I had a student named Insatiable. So, I guess she'll never be satisfied! And am I crazy? I actually think Paisley sounds kind of pretty!

I was thinking that too! I bet the hotel has a photographer they use who is not much more than that!
