  1. Woohoo, I'm so happy for you. I actually went back to Dollarama myself to find different bags. I think mine aren't exactly what I'm looking for. ~~
  2. I think that is so interesting that your guests are staying in condos instead of a hotel. ~~
  3. Question: Do a lot of people journal? I go to university so I write all the time there, so when I come home, I have no desire to write anything. But I do see journaling things at Michaels and such. Is it something that a lot of people do? ~~
  4. Sweet, thanks ladies. I'm just waiting for the lady to email me back to tell me if I have them or not. ~~
  5. Hi ladies, I'm looking for BM dresses to go with these AMAZING hot pink parasols. My wedding colours are: magneta/ fuschia turquoirse darker lime green ~~
  6. I did go to dollarama and got the canvas bags there, haha, now I'm regretting it- but I have to check out the ones in the cornwall- I forgot that there was even one there. Tomorrow when I go see you I will look. ~~
  7. Oh, I'm glad you are on line right now. Okay, hot pink parasols for my bridesmaids? Yah or nah? ~~
  8. Yeah and I guess if I decided against them I could always sell them. ~~
  9. So, I am handed out white paper parasols to all of the female guests in their OOT bags. However, for my bridesmaids and I, I was wondering if maybe I should get a different colour other than just white- same as all the guests. On another board there a hot pink ones for sale that have caught my eye. I'm just debating because it might be too brillliant. Our colours: Green Blue Hot Burgandy Pink ~~
  10. Yes!!!! I went to a local dollar store and found the best OOT bags last night. But, then I looked at the price tag and they were $10.00 each!!!! I am not paying that much for them. Plus, that isn't really fair being at from a dollar store. Grrrr.... I need to go to our Michael's again, maybe after my afternoon nap. See if I can find some excellent deals. ~~
  11. I want to see some pictures too. I love looking at pictures. FYI- my seamstress told me that a dress can be taken in a lot, as in something like 5 sizes, just as long as it has been originally put together properly. ~~
  12. Heidi, Those are amazing!!!! So beautiful. It makes me wish that we had a bigger budget, but I am a full time university student so we don't have the extra cash. **We did have it saved up- but then Francis decided to buy: a 60" plasma for the basement and brand new golf clubs. Needless to say, suddenly our wedding budget disappeared.... I shouldn't complain too much though- he did buy me a laptop and golf clubs too once he found out how "angry" I was that our budget went- so that didn't really help matters. We are both to blame. **sigh** ~~
  13. Awesome deal. I saw those journals in our Michael's, but they were $1.50. LoL. ~~
  14. $10.00!!!! Oh my goodness that is insane!!!! **Sidenote: I can totally see why my cousin used Facebook invitations. Totally tacky though. What are you going to do? ~~
  15. Awesome deal ladies, that's why I love this board. I'm going to go ahead with the charms. I found an amazing deal on ebay $10.00 for 300 of them, so EVERYTHING is going to get charmed. LoL. I still think that I'm going to stay away from the shells though. I want to save those for the Thank you cards and the Programs. Anyone every ordered their shells from Shellhorizons.com before? ~~
  16. Really? When I talked to the the rep she said that shells would get crushed in the machines. I want to attach the little charms to the actual invitations, not the envelopes. ~~
  17. I'm not certain what my plan B will be. I really want to put the little charms on them. I'm thinking that maybe if I do, considering that they will be "hidden" in the ribbons, then they shouldn't break anything? And they are so small.... I don't know.... ~~
  18. Just sit down and doodle something on a piece of paper. Pretty soon, you will come up with something that you like. Then, look through the websites that the PPs have said and you'll do fine. That's what I am going to do. When is your wedding? ~~
  19. So I just got off the phone with Canada Post and I am not a happy camper. I cannot send any type of charm in the mail attached to my invitations [i wanted to use those pretty little seashell charms] because they are against regulations. Plus- these are the postal requirements for the standard size of mailing in order to only pay the $0.52 of standard rate. Length-140 to 245mm----5.51 to 9.65 inches Width- 90 to 156mm-----3.54 to 6.14 inches Thickness-0.18 to 5mm--0.007 to 0.19 inches Weight-3 to 50grams Anything bigger or heavier than this is $1.15 each. Plus- RSVP cards need to be bigger than: 5 1/2 x 3 9/16 inches. If they are smaller they are $1.15 each. Conversion thanks to Conversion tables Millimetres to inches ~~
  20. Woo Hoo- it worked!!!! The only thing that didn't was my text, but that is easy enough to add. Thank you so much, life saver!!!! ~~
