  2. Michelle, makeup looks good...I love that stuff!! And it looks like you had a good time with your friends, love the necklace!
  3. These are my DIY invitations which I mailed out about a month ago. They were time consuming, over all I'm happy with how they came out but the print quality was not the best bc my paper and printer were not a match...so I which I would've taken them elsewhere for printing (too late now) Here they are (pics didnt come out too clear):
  4. SO I had my 2nd fitting this past Saturday and it went much better than my 1st fitting bc they were able to tie the corset all the way...last time they couldnt finish closing it up at the bottom but luckily I lost 10lbs and it really help. I still need to lose a few more lbs. bc it was quite snug and if you notice in the back a little skin was showing...(I dont know if maybe she didnt pull the material evenly on both sides or what)...here are some pics:

  7. Hi ladies..do any of you ladies have a template you can share for a Punta Cana "pre-wedding" brochure? I would to send this out to the guests before they leave with information. TIA :-)
  8. I wish resorts would limit the number of weddings they hold in a day...I'll be there in a few weeks and I hope I wont have to share my special day with too many other brides. I'll definitely come back with a full review.
  9. Hi Marth, Congrats!! Cant wait to see baby Noah....I had a c-sect and I have a low-tolerance for pain myself. for me the 1st week was excruciating and the hardest, after that, the pain was bearable. The meds didnt work too well for me either (I was hoping it would take away all the pain at once but they didnt, LOL, but it help a bit). My advice is too always keep a pillow on your lap in case you have to sneeze or cough. I sneezed after my c-sect (i was still in the hospital) and I thought i ripped my stitches bc it hurt so bad...then a nurse told me that if i hold a pillow against my belly when coughing or sneezing, it helps and it did (for me). I wish you the best...you will forget about the pain once you see those little eyes looking back at you.

Unless I can spray paint them but I dont really feel like doing all that, LOL

  13. I found these square chargers online but they only have gold and silver. On the table I will have chocolate brown runners so I'm not sure if silver or gold would clash too much. ()
  14. thanks, I'm going to check out target and see what I can find.
  15. Hi everyone...I need help or suggestions on my centerpieces...I originally wanted to do the centerpiece picture below (bottom-right hand-side) but I went to see those white square plates at Bed Bath & Beyond and they are pretty darn heavy!! I need approx. 8 so that's REALLY heavy. Any ideas of what else I can use instead of the plates?? I still want to do the candles and river rocks...help.
  16. Leia, everything looks fabulous!! Have a great time, cant wait to see the pics.
  17. I cannot begin to imagine the pain and sorrow you and your family are feeling right now. you are in my prayers..I'm so sorry.
  18. thanks ladies for all the great feedback...I go back at the end of October for the 2nd fitting so I'm hoping I can lose more weight so the dress can be completely tied in the back. I cant believe I have less than 2 mths...where has the time gone? It feels like its flying now!!

He used to be in a band so he sold some of his old instruments (he plays drums and guitar) so he had some bigger ticket items that resulted in the money we made, but I sold some clothes and kitchen stuff since we got new stuff at our shower. We are going to hold another sale in October and advertise this time so hopefully we can rid of the rest of our crap and make some more money. Otherwise, we'll just donate what's left so we won't have to move it to AZ! I'm hoping to start working on those programs this week and get this stuff done. I go for another fitting on Saturday, and I need to pick up my head piece. I can't wait until I get to the point where I have nothing wedding related to do! Wow, $525 is pretty darn good for not being advertised!! Ive been wanting to do a garage sale, we could sure use the extra cash. And I too cant wait til I have nothing wedding related to do!! I am so far behind, I cant believe it.
