  10. Hi ladies, I need a little help or suggestions pls. I am totally clueless about flowers...how does one decide on a color scheme? Does it matter? I love the look of tropical flowers but my bridesmaids are wearing chocholate brown dresses with blue sashes, is it too much with the tropical hues?
  11. WOW!!! I am glad i found this thread. I too am a "starfish bride" and I have found some great ideas here. I will also make contributions when I come across things.
  12. I'm glad this thread was started!! Its really nice to see everyone's creativity, they all look great. I'm thinking of doing something like the vase with sand but I would like to buy beach glass or colored rocks in blue (which is one of our colors) to make the pop visually. I havent done a trial-run yet. http://www.favorideas.com/images/bea...es-ylow-sm.jpg *I havent quite figured out how to do the PIP thing yet but I'm reading up on it now in the "how to" section.

  18. Thanks ladies...I'm so used to thinking "traditionally"...but you are right, this is my day and I should do as I please.
  19. Hi ladies....Ive run into a dilemna, I have NO RING BEARER. It seems everyone is coming to the wedding w/o their kids, we asked one set of parents but they definitely said they were planning on leaving their son and the other parent we asked, gave us an unsure answer and I honestly don't feel he will come through for us. I want to ask my goddaughter (who is 9) to be a junior bridesmaid, will it be too strange to have her carry our rings?? Any suggestions?? Thx
  20. I'm not on facebook actually, LOL. I'm one in a few, I'm sure!
