I'm not sure if this is the right place to post or not but this is my 2nd time posting this thread, the 1st one disappeared (?). I basically am confused with some of the terms...for instance if the photographer states "all digital files delivered on dvd", am I safe to assume I will be getting no prints only the dvd...theres no other verbage talking about prints. And is this the norm to just be given a dvd? TIA

I'm (obviously) clueless on photography and what certain things mean. With that being said, if a photopgrapher states (in a package) that "all high-resolution digital files delivered on DVD"...am I safe to assume that all I'm getting is that DVD, no actual prints?? And is this the norm? TIA

Hi...I'm looking at Dreams as a possible place for my wedding (hopefully my date is still available)...I visited the website and reviewed their wedding packages and extras. I didn't see anything about open bar for a private reception. For all you ladies who have been contacted by a WC at this resort or who have been married there already, how does the private reception work in terms of alcohol?? TIA

I went to see wedding dresses for the 1st time last week and the dress that I am potently getting is a Maggie Sottero for $850. I didn't want to spend over $600-$700 but I love (love) this dress and it is perfect (and light) for a destination wedding.

Thx for the feedback. Its been hard to find on this forum brides who are getting married there or you have been married there. Oh well. I will have to take a leap of faith I guess.

Looking to chat with any Melia brides...I'm planning to wed there this Nov but i will not be able to visit the resort before hand. I heard the resort is beautiful including gazebo. Just nervous I guess. Ive got the menus but havent been sent a quote at all...WC made it seem like I should put my "non-refundable" deposit down first and then my own WC would be assigned to me who will iron everything else out for me....I much rather know approx. total costs before making my deposit.
