  1. Hi ladies, I'm working on my passport STDs and I'm trying to decide between two covers....its not anything fancy but any feedback is welcomed. TIA Cover#1 (it was printed as a test, the final print will have better color on the hibiscus portion) Cover#2 (simple)

  5. I confess that I really cant stand one of my brothers (God forgive me) and I get totally upset/sad/nervous when he comes to town, which is not often-maybe once a year (if that). He is stuck in the past and is holding a grudge (he's 40!!) for how strict my dad was with him and he wont let it go...so he's made it his life's mission to make my dad's life miserable (when he's in town mostly)...when he's not in town, he doesnt bother calling my parents for their bdays or for holidays but if they are strapped for cash he has his wife call my dad to borrow money!!!! My dad has bent over backwards to help him, maybe with the hopes of earning his love and respect but my brother continues to be the same. So I guess his behavior with my parents has cuased my animosity. Phew, feels good to say, um type it & get it off my chest!
  6. Those invites are so pretty! I'm planning to do online RSVP only except for my older family members who dont even own any computers

I wrap it up in foil in the morning & microwave it for 30 seconds at lunch. hummus wraps- Hummus is really cheap & easy to make. I wrap it in a tortilla (can you tell this texas girl loves tortillas) and add lettuce, italian dressing, & whatever else I feel like. Very good & filling. I'll add my hummus recipe later. Here is a bean dip recipe. ½ chopped red bell pepper ½ chopped green bell pepper (I tend to just put in a whole green one to save $) ½ cup chopped red onion 1/3 cup fresh cilantro 1/3 cup lime juice (about 2 limes) 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon ground cumin ½ teaspoon chili powder 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 can diced tomatoes, drained 1 can sweet whole kernel corn, drained 1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl, stirring well. Serve with tortilla chips or wrap in a tortilla (again with the tortillas!). I do the bean burritos also, they are delish...and those beans are high in fiber if I'm not mistaken.

And she sent me an email confirming my date but yet when TA called, they told her a different date (which was my original date)....so I got nervous. When I called she said "ok I put it on the calendar"...HELLO? She shouldve done that weeks ago when she sent me the confirmation email. I will call her again in a month and re-confirm.
  15. I havent decided if I want to make the paper fans or buy the raffia-woven type...I like both so that doesnt help any. lol
  16. I'm glad I read this thread....although I am very sad that its happening to you....I hope the resort can work to make you happy & give you the original time instead of giving you grief. Reading this made me pick up the phone & call my resort bc today my TA called me and said the she spoke with the WC and she has the wrong date for my wedding!!!! The WC had the original date I had wanted but I cancelled that date and booked a different one...I have about 3-4 different emails with the WC confirming this change. Sure enough I called the resort and WC acted like she didn't know which day I wanted...wtf?
  17. I didn't see the video but I saw the headline on AOL when I logged on and I couldn't bring myself to watch or read the story bc I too would want to cry. Its unfortunate how some animals are treated
