Parents cant get a Birthday cake for son named Hitler
LadyCheese replied to DanielleNDerek's topic in Chit Chat Corner!
What a shame!!!!!!!!!! Its those poor kids who are going to suffer. can you imagine how roll call is like, esp when they are older and the teacher is reading off the names "Adolph Hitler" (present)!!! Thats absurd...the worst part is that they are raising their children with those white supremacists beliefs and if the children decide to follow in their parents footsteps, the cycle continues. Craziness I tell you. -

I did get a couple of makeup brushes which were expensive, but there better be gold in the rest of the stuff! lol Oh, ok...Yeah they've gotten me a couple times when I go in for a lesson...bc they do it so nice, you just want to get everything so you can replicate it! For some reason my lashes only stay curled with waterproof mascara...I've tried a dozen other good mascaras (that are not waterproof) and they dont keep the curl. Lancome Definicils Waterproof has been my favorite for years, its pricey but so worth it (IMO)...I bought a tube right before leaving for my wedding, its the one makeup essential I HAD to have. I wonder why I didnt go crazy buying a sh*tload of makeup before I left...all I bought was the mascara, a MAC lipstick and liner...thats all. probably because I such a procastinator and was running out of time! LOL

I love makeup...granted I hardly wear any these days but I still love it nonetheless. I was cleaning out one of my makeup trunks today and decided to count my MAC eyeshadows and the final count was 65!! And that's just shadows, I didn't get to count the lipsticks and glosses. Which I know it may sound crazy and obsessive but there's something about those little black containers that makes me feel so good. My obsession with MAC started about 7 years ago (this feels like a confessional, "HI, I'm Jessica, and I'm addicted to MAC"...LOL)...but I also love other brands of makeup: BareMinerals, Stila, Lancome (the best mascara ever!), Smashbox...and even drugstore makeup (which is where it all began for me). So I wonder if there are other crazy make-up people like me on BDW or am I the only nut?

Wishing you grandpa a speedy recovery!! Keep your head up during these trying times....I agree with everyone that DH shouldn't ignore you, thats the worse feeling. I hope he really comes around soon, besides you are human and accidents do happen. -
the Bordeaux Terrace looks amazing, its crazy that I didnt even see that restaurant while I was there but I know a guest who ate there. The view is stunning. I had requested my reception site months in advance but a month before the wedding the WC had asked me again which location I wanted, which menu, etc...I didnt really have many options for the reception since we had over 50 guests, we had to go with the Himitsu Terrace which is also a very nice location.
