my main complaint with the PRM was that everything for the wedding was $$$ extra...but the room rates for our guests were comparable with other resorts in the area...which in January, means pretty freaking high We're going with Dreams Tulum and just sent out STDs this morning so we're happy.

They look awesome!!! Great job, I'm sure you're guests will love and really appreciate the time and effort (and creativity) you put into them!!!

FI and I wanted to go this route, but my parents would kill me! I think it would be SO romantic and special to do a just the 2 of you wedding. And you can pick anywhere in the world you want!!! with this kind of wedding, picking BM dresses is out, but you can bring all your closest friends shopping with you for your wedding dress and you could still do DIY wedding announcements! and definitely consider an at home reception after you get back so you can be the pretty princess and celebrate with your friends and family. Even if FIs parents still can't be there, it won't feel like quite an absence since technically its just a party. good luck and keep us up to date on what you decide!!!

I tried to book my Jan 09 wedding at the Dreams in Puerto Adventureos (sp) near Playa Del Carmen but hey weren't accepting reservations or wedding yet. They said they had to wait until reno was finished before they'd commit to a wedding.

Just finished the STDs (and then realized I had a minor typo...oops!) and our wedding website. Wanted to send out a HUGE thank you to Becks and Missy because I totally "borrowed" from your sites (which are SO much better than mine, but oh well). i'll check in again soon (especially since becks reminded me how great you PRC brides are!!!)
