  1. My family went there for our last stop on our cruise. It was so beautiful! We snorkled, swam with dolphins and I just remember how tropical and beautiful it was! I def recommend it!
  2. Ok I maybe the only crazy one-but I refuse to go barefoot! I'm taller too but so is my FI. I am wearing wedges for the beach (I think I'm going to have a ramp too) and so are my bridesmaids. I'm crazy!
  3. My fiance is jewish and I am methodist (which is a huge reason why we're doing DW- no church/temple fight!). We are doing a legal ceremony at my grandparents church here so we really would like a Rabbi to do a symbolic jewish ceremony on the beach in Cabo. Do any of you have experiences with Rabbi's in Mexico? Do we need to bring our own from the states?
  4. Hi Brides! We are looking at doing our beach ceremony at the Sheraton (where our guests will be) and having the reception at a private villa within walking distance. Do any of you girls know the fees for the Sheraton ceremony? I know we need to block off 10 rooms. Also we are doing a legal ceremony in Texas (for our older grandparents who can't travel) so we won't need any legal fees. Just curious if there is a site fee on top of the room block? Thanks girls!
  5. Hey Brides! For those of you who have used or are using a solo guitarist for your ceremony, what did he play? I would love for the guitarist to play familiar songs like U2's "All I want is you" and classical pieces. Is this possible to give them a list? or is it like a DJ and they have a specific playlist you can choose from (I'm clueless!) Thanks girls!
  6. You are not crazy! Your body is just ridding itself of toxins...you may get moody, headaches and feel weird for 1-3 weeks depending how much detoxing you are going through! Keep going you will have so much energy, your skin will look amazing (it just sucks during the detox part) Also, eat a lot of cantoloupe (preferably by itself) it's great for hydrating while your body is going through a diet change and will have your skin looking radiant! Sorry so much info-ex-ballet dancer here who's going into holistic nutrition study :-)
  7. Fiestas Los Cabos I've read some nice reviews of them on this forum. I've just started out, but I think I'm going to be really happy with them. Tara the owner is from Houston (I'm a Dallas girl) and so it's comforting having a Texas girl helping me out! Fiestas Los Cabos

  9. I spoke to Amy today from FLC and I am so happy! She sounds wonderful and laid all my fears to rest
  10. I have lemmon chiffon for my Bmaids(soft/baby yellow) any ideas for color combos? appreciate it!
  11. Yeah! I finally have our website up and running (minus a few details) and I sent the save-the-dates...only 1000 more things to do :-) Our Wedding Website
  12. My wedding coordinator (Tara Null from FLC) just emailed me that she is really overbooked and she is putting "Amy" on my wedding so I get "the attention I deserve". I totally understand but am a little bummed. So far she hasn't really done anything for me- no contracts, no site booked (we are looking into Villas) no vendors, she hasn't even quoted a fee for her services. I contacted Maye since reading rave reviews on the site about her and she's available. I'm a little at a loss on what to do- any thoughts? Any insight would be a great help!!!!
  13. Hey Girls! I have a question on gifts- are yall registering and asking for gifts even though you're a destination bride? I consulted one of my books on do's and don'ts of a wedding and it says yes you still ask for gifts but I was just curious what yall were doing! Thanks!
  14. Thanks for the info! We are looking at villas for our July 5 '08 wedding. did you have a beach ceremony? Also if you don't mind, how much were the additional event fees? thanks I appreciate it!
  15. Thank you so much!! I looked at your site really beautiful work!
  16. After a little research I really like the Cabo del Sol area (which has private villas, a country club and also the Sheraton and Fiesta Americana). Does anyone have experience with these venues? We would love to rent a villa and have our ceremony on the beach and our reception either at the Villa or country club and thought the Sheraton or Fiesta would be a great place to for our friends/family to stay. Any information on these would be great. Also we have contacted Tara Null for our wedding coordination; any experiences using her? Thanks! Addison Newbie hoping to get married July 5, 2008!
  17. Thank you for all the information! I loved the look of the palmilla but was concerned with their minimum stay. Did they quote you a minimum for rooms booked?
  18. Hello! My fiance and I are from Dallas Texas and we are getting marriend July 5th in Cabo! We haven't settled on a location just yet! Aaahhhh! But we are so excited!
