Hey girls, is anyone getting married May 11-15? I have 2 brides who are interested in splitting travel costs but there gap is too big between their weddings (5 days) I'm looking to do one more wedding inbetween there and figured I'd pass the message along to all you girls since my 2nd client is getting married at MP! I have a little more info on my blog as well if anyone is interested! Thanks again, I usually wouldn't post this but we're looking to split the travel! Thanks ladies! -

I just returned from doing a wedding at Bucati and have to comment! WOW, it was gorgeous! My first impression of the resort was,"where are all the people??"It is such a quiet and relaxing place, a perfect place for a wedding. The coordinator did a great job for them and everything came together perfectly. They held their ceremony right near the ocean before sunset.Then their reception was on the sand, so nice! We got to eat dinner as the sunset. I would definitely look into this resort, it would be an amazing wedding!

If I have destination clients within the surrounding states than I will offer an engagement session in my packages for them. Some photographers do this and some don't. For my wedding I have a separate photographer for my engagement session though I wish I would have stuck with the same.

I recommend bringing your own of course! When I travel I offer the wedding day coverage plus a TTD session is included. Sometimes you won't get that for people already there...plus they like to charge a loooooooot. get quotes for sure, your options are endless.

CONGRATS on booking! I focus a lot on boudoir and know there aren't a lot of photog's that do it. Remember to have fun, you'll look back in 10 years and be VERY glad you did it!

congrats! i did a wedding at sandals grande ocho and it was so fun! i have one for the one in montego bay in october! i looooove sandals and whitehouse is a must visit for me someday! i hear great things about it. -

you don't need a il specific ta. i use beach bum vacations and marcie is my ta. she does all my work travel and personal also. my life would be insane if i had to do all my travel so she is a life saver. def. check her out! anyone from bb will go above and beyond for you though.

Try Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay Jamaica, I've seen it for some really good prices. Also if you wanted to go away from the AI you could check out the rockhouse or tensing pen, they might have availability for weddings right now. good luck!

Hello everyone! One of my clients today told me I should come post on these forums. I told I was a bit nervous because it's so weird vendors can post. (i am so use to the knot) Anyways, I had a destination wedding last December and now focus a lot of my time on destination wedding photography and boudoir. Anyways, hope to chat with everyone!
