We checked some prices and they seemed outrageous. I checked with my airline about baggage fees and found out they have no baggage fees at all for international flights! We each get two checked bags and a carry on, so hopefully we can fit all in 6 bags! If not, we will just have to pay for one extra bag which won't be bad. It probably would be so much easier to ship, but we are just going to lug it all with us! I def would like to know how the shipping turned out though.

I took my dress today to get it altered, or actually just hemmed. It also needed boobs sewn in. My mom ordered me the Something Blue embroidered thingy from JCrew and that had to be sewn in too. It was so exciting! I was hoping to get some better pics of me in it but I didn't I'm gettting so excited for my lingerie shower this weekend! I also have a shower at my work this Friday. It was supposed to be a surprise, but I know about it. I'll act surprised!

Sounds like so much fun! I'm so glad you had such a great time and can't wait to see pics!!!!

Now that I think about it, I remember trying Bobbi Brown once and liking it. I've used so many, I sometimes forget which ones I did like. I think I may schedule a trial at Bobbi Brown, and they have this really great bronzer I used to use. Thanks for suggesting it Trish! Here is my jewelry and some generic pics of me in my dress. I'm going monday for alterations and hopefully I can get some better pics then.

I bought my wedding jewelry today. I love it, its a little more bling than I had in mind but my dress is so plain that it works. I'll post pics in a little bit. I'm down to days too! I still have make up to buy as well. I have tried so many different brands and I cannot find anything that I love. My skin is so oil that everything just slicks right off. I want to try to get something that is not too heavy but has good coverage and will stay on my face. Anybody have any suggestions or used anything good for oily skin?

Are you wearing your dress that you get married in or did you get a different one? I was just planning on wearing my real dress, it should fold up and fit in a bag pretty easily.

We are probably doing 1/2 day deep sea fishing on Thurs. too! I saw your post on the DT thread and Neen gave me the same contact that she gave after your post. We actually haven't booked yet, keeping fingers crossed we can still do it. The girls are prob doing the spa/beach thing as well. Hope that worked...

Thats really cute Yari! I think I might use that too! I just got an email from SHutterfly for a free 8x8 photobook. I forgot that I don't have a guestbook!...so I'm going to use the free one to put photos of all the guests and room for them to sign.

This looks yummy! FI just said we are going to grocery to get cocoa powder after dinner!

Here is my list to do: -put music together for ceremony & reception -make OOT bag welcom letters -make guest book on Shutterfly -buy flip flops -schedule hair appt. at resort --Trish I didn't even think about doing this! -buy make up -get dress hemmed -buy wedding jewelry I think thats it! Wow, its so much shorter now! I'm taking my dress to get it hemmed tomorrow so I will have pics taken so I can post it!

31 days for me Yari! I get more excited everyday! We got our marriage license today...it seems so real now!

We are getting legally married the week before we leave but we aren't telling anyone and just going to consider our Mexican wedding as our real wedding day. It just seems easier to me to do it that way.

Yes, Trish I want to see pics too!!! I specifically told my girls no crazy bride stuff for me on that night. I do not want veils or penises either! I'm sure they are totally going to ignore me though.

Hey girls! I got so much stuff done last weekend and durng the week and then some more this weekend! I'm almost completely finished! I went shopping this weekend and bought some clothes and shoes, they are all so cute! We are finsished with the OOT bags and are working on our starfish place cards. I still have to decide what we are doing for the ceremony and compile music list. I am having my personal shower the weekend of the 20th and I cannot wait! I love lingerie. We are not having my bach party til Oct 4th. Its so close before we leave and I'm afraid I'll have lots of last minute stuff to do but it is the only time we could have it. Fi is from WI and doesn't have any super close friends here, although he has lots of good friends. I don't know if any of them are planning a bach party for him, so I am planning a surprise one for him! It will be on the same night as mine. Hope I can get everybody together for it! We leave 4 weeks from tomorrow, so excited!

Congrats Kelly!!! Have fun tonight! We are so close girls! I have my legal day Oct 1. We are going next week to get our marriage license! I am so excited. I also decided not to ship our stuff. We are going to just pack in suitcases istead. It was going to be so much to ship and I was so nervous about it making it down. I found out the with American Airlines you do not have to pay baggage fees for carry ons or checked baggage!!...as long as they are not over 50 lbs. Now, hopefully the airline won't lose my luggage...haha!

I think the veil and flower will look good, I think I'm doing the same now. I really do love the veil with the dress, looks great!
