    I am right there with you on the stupid girls thing. It doesn't do ANYONE any good to show this sort of thing. It gives young, impressionable girls the idea that it's okay to be an airhead, because, look! they are such big successes! TV needs better role models. Smart, articulate, normal sized girls who are kicking butt in the real world. Done with the soapbox... who want it next?

    You can find those heart-shaped glass jewels fairly easily. i don't know how expensive they are, but you could put those in the candles.

    OMG. I must have a shirt that says "I'm the Bride". I had 'zillas on the TV Sunday night while I was making dinner - FI was snoozing on the couch, woke up, saw a few minutes of it, walked over and gave me a big ol' kiss and thanked me for being normal. Ha! I'll show him! Why? 'Cause I'm the briiiiiiiiideeee!!!

    You can do what I've done. Task one of your bridesmaids or friends with making sure she comes nowhere near you for the entire day of the wedding. And I am pretty fond of my FMIL. I can't even imagine!

    cook them until you can easily pierce them with a fork - not mushy, but soft. Think about the texture of the potato salad you had on Saturday - the fork should go into your potatoes with the same ease as it did with those. For cutting, I'd either slice them in large slices (1/4 inch or so), or cut them into 8ths - quarter the potatoes and then cut each chunk in half once more. Good luck!!

    So, if the charge is to AA, but there's also a charge to Alaska? Who AUTHORIZED the charges? Clearly your TA did it on your behalf - you didn't. Go to the credit card company with that info and see what they will do with it.

    Macy's (the big one in NYC) has a huge display of white dresses up in their front windows right now, so that's an option. I got what I'll be wearing from Target - for $17.99!! Woo hoo! But they have some fun white stuff there, too.
