My suggestion on ribbon is to go with a satin ribbon (go to Michaels, Wal-Mart or Joann), or a floral ribbon which is really inexpensive - it doesn't look quite as nice up close, but you really can't tell the difference. Mine are done in fuchsia and blue. My blue is floral ribbon, and the fuchsia is satin.

I'd suggest that in your description of the hotel you state that it is an "Adults Only All Inclusive Luxury Resort" and that the XYZ hotel next door is a "Family Friendly Five-Star Resort" or something that will cue them in to the difference.

I'm just sitting here and my mind is wandering. so, if you were to take a regular beach towel (a square towel would be better, but whatever)... and chop off one corner so that the new edge was about a foot long.... and then take a hand towel in the same fabric and cut it across diagonally.... and then flip one side so that it was kite shaped... and then sew the two short edges onto the newly cut edge on the beach towel... you'd pretty much have the shape you wanted. There'd be a big point on the hood, so you'd probably want to cut the point off and finish the edge... Let me see if I can come up with something....

I've got breakfast with the girls and my mom and sis, and then I'll probably see him poolside. But I'm not making a big deal about it one way or the other. Definitely getting ready with the girls and my mom and sis, though.

I got mine in the mail the other day - it's totally cute. FI loves it.

Those are really cute. And they can't be that hard... I know that JoAnn offers sewing classes. My mom actually got me a sewing machine for my shower gift. I haven't used it yet, but I'm so excited to have it!

(see below) I've seen some really cute ones like: - what will they name their kids/pets - how many kids/pets - what city/town/neighborhood will they end up living in - what will be the birthdate of their firstborn - what will Bob get Susan for their 5th anniversary stuff like that...

Stay positive. In a few months, when everything is fixed and back to normal, this last week will be a source for a lot of laughter and funny stories. And now you are off to marry your sweetheart.
