Hi Ladies! Sorry I've been awol for so long! I've got a bunch of new responsibilities at work and I have been incredibly busy.
It sounds like most questions have been answered, but I didn't read too thoroughly so if there was anything anyone needed from me, please let me know.
And yes, I'm still working on getting a proper review done. My wedding was 2 months ago yesterday (gah!) and I STILL haven't gotten it done. Bad rebecca!
So, she has a reservation at the hotel, right? I've got $5 that says there's no plane ticket and she's just got the res to mess with you and set it up so that you'd find out.
Talk to your WC and make sure she knows that there's a potential problem - make sure the psycho doesn't have a room overlooking the wedding or reception sites (just to be sure), and go from there.
My best guess is that she cancels the res right before the deadline.
LOVE laura mercier. I'm a no foundation EVER girl, but I wore their primer and oil free foundation at my wedding (in August in Mexico) and it was PERFECT.
Get an appointment at Nordstrom, Bloomies or a big Macy's and get your face done. You don't have to buy anything, although that is the goal of the artists. And just wear it around for a day and see what you think.
I've always, always wanted to go to Marrakech!!! Everyone I know says it is about the most amazing place they've ever been to. But they also say to avoid Tangier if you can.
I'm so jealous!!
Sylvia, I'm so sorry to hear your news! I'm with you in that the way they've set up the transition package doesn't seem quite right. You don't get the package if you don't apply and accept a job with the new company? Something seems fishy.
If I were you I'd take the docs they gave you and consult with a lawyer just to make sure you're not getting duped somehow.
but I"m still really sorry you're going thru this! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out in a surprisingly fabulous way!
Happy birthday to you...
Happy birthday to you...
Oh, wait. Yari already did that.
Okay, then...
You say it's your birthday
It's my birthday too--yeah
They say it's your birthday
We're gonna have a good time
I'm glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you.
Yari - I'll warn you about some of those greyish blues. I once painted my bedroom a cooler wedgewood blue. And when you stepped back to look at it, it was gray. Just gray. With a vague blue undertone. It was AWFUL.
My suggestion is this - if you are going to have it painted anyway, run out to PB and get two small jars of paint in the colors you're considering and paint a big section (liek 3x3) with each. Let them dry and look at them for a day - in the morning and evening because the light changes. Then you can decide.
If you want to be safe, the Lenox is GORGEOUS, and won't get funky on you the way blue can.
It was so much fun!!! And I was so sad I had to leave so early - I would have loved to stay all night!
Next time (assuming its not while I'm on the honeymoon), I'm definitely in for the night!!
The ladies were so much fun! You should all be very, very jealous of the great time that was had!
I LOVED having our photog there. And Nathaniel was absolutely wonderful to work with.
The package we had included 3 hours the night of our welcome dinner, all day the day of the wedding and 3 hours for TTD. We get full reprint rights and high res digital images of everything, the slide shows, plus he's going to make a book for us. You'll have to get in touch with him about pricing, because I don't know his current rates.
Hi Tara:
It was leftover - and believe me as tired and drinky as I was, I didn't even notice the 68,000 hair pins. I had to put a few more in in the morning to fix a few of the fallen strands, but that and a touch of spray... held up just fine!
I'm with Christa on this... You deserve better!
I know that's easy for me to say, and that right now you're hurting horribly. And for that, my heart just breaks for you and your kids.
We're here for you, whatever we can do, just ask!
Big, big hugs!!
It was breezy and ny veil did blow around a bit. I just tucked the edge that was away from people under my arm and it was fine. that being said, my veil was waist length. That might not work if you have a really long one.
The weights sound good, but I do love the pictures with the veil blowing.
