    Oh Sweetie!! I'm so sorry this is going on - totally not fair! So, (a) call the other shop RIGHT NOW and see if they will still give you the sample ( don't worry about the other shop/dress/etc. That will work itself out over time. If you put it on a credit card - call them and get it disputed. And I know you don't want to hear this, but if the shop is gone for good, you can take them to small claims court and/or have a priority claim in their bankruptcy case.

    Hi Ladies: I'm thinking of doing a few (3-5) little flowers in my hair, and then adding a veil. I've seen some pictures (can't remeber whose) with both and they looked great. If your veil also has a tiara/accent it might be too much, but otherwise I think you're fine!

    Hi Jodey! I'd suggest telling him you're going for the elegant/sleek look rather than princess. I'm probably in the other direction - FI wants to go very casual... even mentioned wearing (tailored) shorts to the wedding. He keeps showing me pictures of plain, white cotton dresses. Um. Hello? I'm getting married here?? I will look like a bride, and he will like it (or deal). I tried explaining to him last night that its a wedding, and even if we tell people its casual, if I wear a plain white dress, guests are going to be dressed better than I am. LOL!

    I don't know about the PPR, but our travel agent has gotten some discounts for us at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun, so I know that (at least in theory) it should be possible.

    Welcome and congratulations! It is tough to find just what you want, but keep trying. You'll find the right place. Check the forum and you can pretty much put together a list of all available resorts, and the names and e-mails of their WCs

    You can absolutely do that. A good printer won't struggle with the fold. Alternatively, just get regular card stock, print one side with a picture of your choice and the other side with your note. Then get a paper trimmer/cutter with a scoring blade (makes the nice, sharp fold) and you're all set.

    If you can find a good color laser printer, that's your best bet. Check with friends to see if their offices have them, because they are $$$$$!! Next best bet is a decent laser printer on colored paper. But do a test run, and by about 10% more cards than you think you need - there will be flubs, and that way you can toss those without any pain.
