  1. Maura is right. You cannot bring plants, flowers, etc...back to the US. Actually, I used to fly Air Tahiti Nui from LA to Paris and they used to give us a flower in the flight but they have stopped a couple of years ago because US customs did not want the airline to have flowers while in Transit in LA. As I stated in another post, you can try but they will throw it away if they find it.
  2. Hi..how was the Royal plantation? it looks great but the beach is practically non existant...what did you think?
  3. Melissa.... I will include you and your family in prayers. Keep positive thoughts...GOD is with you.

  5. WOW!!! those are amazing pictures, you look fabulous. Love your dress, hair, and jewelry and the TTD is very romantic...beautiful.
  6. It's a gorgeous dress and looks great on you. I don't know about the sash, I like the way it is without.
  7. Definatly do a trial run the day before if you can and will be using their make up except the lipstick.
  8. I don't think you can bring it back to the US on an international flight, you can always put it in your suitcase but if they open it and find your bouquet, they will ask you to throw it away. At least, that is what they do with food.
  9. Alyssa The only hotel I know is the Bellagio in Las Vegas, you had to use their vendors.(flowers, photography, cake, etc...) I also know that if you are having your wedding at a hotel in Maui, the beverages and food(cake) have to be provided by the hotel. The cake is not a big deal to me but at least I can choose my flowers and photographer.
  10. Maybe a list of hotels/resorts who do not allow outside vendors or charge a penalty to do so could be compiled so brides are aware before making a decision.
  11. Hi...where in Maui are you thining? we are have our ceremony at Grand Wailea chapel...fell in love with when I visited last year. Google Image Result for http://www.amauiweddingday.com/Maui-Wedding-Photos/Grand-Wailea-Seaside-ChapelPic-007-350x233.jpg
  12. Wow! you look beautiful and I love you hair....congratulations, it looks like you had a blast!
  13. NO NO and NO, I do not believe dogs belong in a basement. In my office, we have 4 dogs who come every day...granted, it is a bit unusual but pets are like family. From I have been reading, I do not believe, they deserve Elsie....just my 2 cents.
  14. I am a marketing director for a property management company in sunny southern Cali :-)
  15. When I was thinking of DR wedding, during my research, I talked to a couple brides who used them and were very HAPPY with the pics and the video. Also, I must say that Severine was very quick to respond.
  16. Chiquita....who did you pick for your wedding in Maui? I have narrowed it down to a couple...personally, since it is just the 2 of US, I would rather have 4 hours, a great CD with full copyright than a full day with hundred's prints.
  17. Welcome! you are not alone about being confused, before settling for Maui, I was all over the place, Vegas, Jamaica, St Lucia, and DR.
  18. Welcome to the forum! I live in LA. There are great places for a wedding. If you are looking for a travel theme, maybe you can get married on a yacht in Marina Del Rey, it's just minutes from the airport and you can see planes land and take off. Marina del Rey Wedding Packages
