Congratulations on your wedding! Maui is a great place to get married :-) I don't have the info since I am using a wedding planner as well but I remember reading a wedding review a few months ago about a bride who had not used a wedding planner and regretted it...apparently, the musicians she had booked could not make it and she did not find out until a couple weeks before the wedding. I understand you feel you can handle it yourself, however, IMO dealing with different vendors so far away can be tricky, they are more accountable dealing with wedding planners than individual brides. Personally, I would tell her that if she does not want to go and witness her son getting married, fine, you will send her pictures :-) she will feel stupid for having let fear miss her son's wedding while everyone else enjoyed it...like your sister said it is your wedding, you are marrying the man of your dreams and this is the most important. She is probably hoping you will change your mind and have the wedding at home....don't do it, otherwise, she will rule your life.

I like them a lot. You are beautiful and she was able to capture the setting....love the pics with the entire family and the palm trees in the background.

Great review. I am glad everything turned out well. You look beautiful. I do have a question though, what was the coordinator's reasoning as to the $6000 invoice discrepancy ? that's quite a difference!!!! although, she gave in but I find it unprofessional on their part to put a bride though this at the eve of her wedding :-(

I have never been but I would say that unfortunatly, crime is everywhere now....granted more or less depending the areas... do you think I would go downtown Los Angeles at night?

WOW! I cannot believe this from friends! although, I am not surprised, some people would rather avoid and stick their heads in the sand rather than deal with a situation...I see it everyday at work It is really irritating and sadly do not take people at their words anymore; but this coming from your best friends, that is totally unacceptable and would be a friendship deal breaker specially if they left you with the bill. I totally agree and get the dress back...personally, I would not want to have anything to do with her..she is NOT a friend IMO if she cannot talk to you and is not returning your phone calls.

I love to see the pictures....looks beautiful with the attendants wearing different colors. I wish them much happiness :-) They released some pictures....she looks great :-) I LOVE her dress!!!!!!!!!

The Monique Luo dress looks stunning on you! I love the lace, although I love Demetrios dresses, I am not really found of that one, I do not like the fact I see the stitches on the front...it does not look well made IMO...the first one is gorgeous.

9 hours?WTH!!! I agree that is the first thing when booking a flight too...I prefer non stop of course but if I have lay overs, I always check the times between them, personally, 2 hours is the max for me.
