  1. I personally think they gave too much info by trying to be nice and not offend you but in doing so, they came across as somewhat condescending specially the part of suggesting other resorts in the area because they have been there. I totally understand them wanting to stay somewhere they like since it is their money and vacation time, however I agree a simple " we really like such and such resort and would love to stay there if you do not mind" would have been more appropriate.
  2. I am starting the diet tomorrow...I am making the soup. Las time, I did it, I lost 7 lbs but I cheated...this time, no cheating, I want to loose 10lbs. I want to be 125 by July 4th. Good luck to all :-)
  3. If you are chosen, I will definatly watch it :-)
  4. WOW! it's gorgeous! please let us know after you receive it if it as as beautiful and real in person.
  5. When we were there last year, we did the trip to Hana( very nice but hard on the drive), the trilogy day trip excusrion to Lanai(great snorkeling) and the the Old Lahaina Luau( that was really fun) ..this time, I don't think we will do any of it, we are only there for 5 days and flying to Tahiti Bora Bora for our honeymoon :-)

  7. I have a friend who went to Holland when her baby was only a few weeks old. Everything turned out well...actually, the international airlines are very accomodating to families......they will try everything for you to have the best seats where you can have a bassinet, on my trips to Europe, I have witnessed the flight attendants politely request passengers to switch seats and everyone complied. You will not have any problems at all. As far as health care , all european countries have very high heath standards specially when it comes to children. You will be fine :-)
  8. I was originally thinking of getting married there but decided on Maui:-) From the pics Excellence is beautiful and the WC is really nice. I am sure your wedding will be beautiful.
  9. I am not going to discuss this any further. That word in reference to a woman is very offensive to me. As far as the legal statement, I was referring to the original poster who has the recourse of pressing legal charges against the sister for false accusations, defamation of character, etc...
  10. I can't believe your sister put you through this...I am so sick and tired of people crying wolf. She should be held accountable for what she did and if I were you I would seriously consider bringing charges against her. She had no rights putting you, your children and your FI trough this.
  11. You may be right, but t is a sad day when a woman uses that word to describe another.
  12. I guess I am in the minority because I would never say the "c" word or maybe it's just a generation thing. I think "we" women have come such a long way but still want some respect. And the way to get it IMHO is to respect ourselves:)
  13. Wow! before making any comments can someone provide me with the original thread? I tried to look for it but was unsuccessful thanks
  14. This really helps...I have done it and lost 7 pounds...I had overindulged during the holidays. Sacred Heart Diet
  15. I don't think it's inconsiderate at all.. I am sorry to be so blunt but I think sometimes brides make plans so far in advance and expect everyone around them to put their lives on hold until their big event. Your wedding is not until february next year, a lot of things could happen before that and I can totally understand why she does not want to wait to get married if she wants to.
  16. Welcome to the forum! the fountain picture on your website brings back memories of the Maui 4 Seasons :-)
  17. In a bar or restaurant NO...I just squeeze it.... but at home, I love lemon in water...I don't drink soda either.
  18. First ...I want to say that I admire your attitude and it really shows that you are not only beautiful on the outside but inside as well...don't think I would have handled as well as you did. As far as ROR is concerned, I am wondering if they bit more than they can chew, looks to me the wedding coordinators are over worked....I am not defending Chandlyn's actions by any means, it was wrong of her to spend time on a rehearsal and not assist you on your actual wedding, but it must be hard to have so many weddings daily. I think you did the right thing by posting the facts, I am sure it will help future brides. Does anyone know how many coordinators the resort has and how many weddings do they have daily? do they have a limit? because this should not have happened and should be aware of it before it is too late.
