What were your OOT bags like? Where did you buy them and what did you put in them? Did you give one per person or one per room?

Save the dates are importatnt for guests to plan. Especially, for a desination wedding. It takes time to save and request vacation time off etc.

I love the detailing on your dress. I would go with a pair of dyables with sparkle or silver with sparkles. try shoes. com or zappos.com . They have LOTS of wedding shoes and shipping id free both ways. So if you order something and do't quite like it, you can ship it back for free.

Not anymore ! This was my first DW choice. I even went on a go see and met with the wedding planner and all. But, when we got home, we realized it just wasn't worth the $. It is a BEAUTIFUL location and we had lots of fun, but we decided on DR because we get a lot more for our money. They do have a BEAUTIFUL wedding gazebo. I took pictures, so if you want to see them just PM me. Also, if you do go to visit the location, you MUST go to Rum Runners directly across the street from the resort. They have the BEST drinks and local foods !

Here's what my mom is wearing. She's very petite and yound looking, so the tradiional MOB dresses were too dated for her. She's wearing this dress in chocolate brown.

How many do you need? I have a few that are that color and a bit taller. I'm not using them because I changed my wedding colors. If you're interested, I can send you a pic.

Hi Carrie. I'm still trying to decide where I want to have our reception. I like the terrace and the area outside of the restaurant. I heard ALL of the food is good, so we're going with the Silver dinner menu because it doesn't make sense to pay extra money for food when it's an AI anyways. I have pictures of the setup on the terrace on my home computer, maybe on my shutterfly. If you give me your email address I will forward them to you.

Target is a good store, BUT their return policy SUCKS! Here's a warning, if you register and need to return / exchange stuff, they will only allow you to return 2 items per year without a reciept. And I hightly doubt, guests will give a reciept with the gift. Your best bet is to look for another store to register. I registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and LOVE it. Their registry is open for 2 years after the event date AND you can use the 20% coupons they send in the mail (even after its expiration date) and they will send you an additional 10% coupon to use on all items to complete your registry. They will also alow brides to return/exchange items without a receipt.

If you know who booked, then you don't need an RSVP. Instead of an RSVP, we're including other info like 'Travel Information' , 'Spanish Phrases' & Resort Info.

Yes, the weddings are later in the evening because the resort is towards the end or the beach and farthest away. You can contact Grisel at Dreams, she can give you more details about having the coordinator do the ceremony and sign the papers with the judge later. I know LOTS of brides on the original Sunscape forum that did this. A 6 PM wedding will be nice in August. It's just before sunset so you will get daytime and sunset pictures.
