    Thanks ladies. OUr budget doesn't permit for a cocktail hour, but I think I will recommend them to a bar near the reception site to mingle before the reception.

    Hi ladies ! Do you think and hour & half is too much time between the ceremony & reception. The wedding ceremony should be over by 4:30 and I want to start the reception at 6:00.

    I purchased corks from Hobby Lobby. If you have a vase that has a wide opening and the cork will not fit, bundle up some tissue and put on top of the sand, pack it tightly and wrap the top with saran wrap and apply tape around the edges of the saran wrap. Then store it upright in your carry on bag.

    I sent out Save the dates and gave everyone a deadline to make their reservations (which was 6 months before the wedding). This way I KNOW for sure who's coming and I can plan accordingly.

    I'm doing the Ipod reception. We're making playlists and will have different selections for each part of the reception.

    In addition to all these great tips, increase your garlic intake. I know some folks don't like it and it smells bad, but Garlic helps reduce blood pressure and cholesterol. Add fresh garlic to meals or take a garlique pill once a day.

    That sucks ! My original answer was saying to change the date to Friday, but since they're now not available until March, I say your best bet is to go with your resort choice # 2. Good luck.
