I'm having a private reception at our resort. I'm still contemplating on having it inside the hall though. I originally planned for an outdoor reception on the terrace, but I think I'd prefer an inside reception because we can have some AC. I don't want to be uncomfortable all night in my gown if it's too hot.

I like chocolate brown (but that's one of my favorite colors). So I'll vote for a deeper shade of red with burnt orange & some gold tones. Now, if you were having regular orange, I will vote for a hot pink. That's REALLY nice.

I do have a few co-workers that are close to me ,like my big brothers, so I may have a BBQ for 4th of July & invite them over and show them pics & stuff. But that's as far as it goes. I can't believe your grandma made that comment about who to vote for. The last I checked, your vote was a private matter. You can just say you voted for anyone she pleases. It's not like she's going to find out ...LOL

I've heard all the negative comments about us having a DW. When I had one of my bridezilla moments, I replied to the person saying ' Well, we will weed out all the phony people in our lives and after the wedding we'll know who our TRUE friends are". I never heard a negative comment after that.
