  1. Thanks for the comments ladies. The photographer was AWESOME. I truly love her style and she was very friendly. The best part is we got her at a great discount. She's also offering specials on DW's. She captured all my DIY details.
  2. Hi ladies ! I'm back from my Dreamy Island wedding. Everything was AWESOME, the wedding was great and everyone had lots of fun. I'm working on my review, but here are some pics on my photographers blog Expressions By Misti Enjoy !
  3. I'm leaving for my DW in the morning and wanted to say THANK YOU to the beautiful brides on this site. You truly welcomed me with open arms and I helped when necessary. I'll miss ya'll while I'm gone.
  4. The rooms are ALL similar. The only difference is in the Honeymoon suite which has a separate living room, larger bathroom & jaccuzi on the patio. I was told when booking that the 'supersaver' room is the same as the delux room. The only difference is the beds (king or 2 double) and the view (garden, pool or ocean).
  5. Welcome to the Board. I'm a Dreams PC bride to be also.
  6. I'm not going to PV, but my wedding is at Dreams PC. The cost per person for the reception is $20 (basic menu).
  7. I know my something old is probably the corniest ever. I'm using my trust old fat sucker (girdle) as my something old. I was going to get a new one, but I didn't want to spend the $ on something I'd hardly use. So I decided to wear the one I usually wear under my dressy clothes.
  8. Feel free to use the wording I used on my website Leticia & Reed's Wedding Website - WedQuarters
  9. It's not tacky at all! Our reception will be at the resort (which is AI), but we still have to pay a price per person. I really don't think the guests will even notice if you have to pay for the reception or not. They're there to support you on your big day and they'll be too busy having a good time to worry about the reception being held at an AI.
  10. I'm sorry to hear about this change, but from another PC bride to be, you need to call the resort ASAP. I don't know if your resort requires a waiting period, but some of them on the island do require a 3 day period before the wedding date to get everything organized. YOu should also contact your TA and see if there is an earlier flight. You don't want to be rushed the day before your wedding to hurry up and get things in order with the resort. I hope all works out well for you.
  11. Welcome to the board Shannon. I'm also a Dreams PC Bride.
  12. I like the aqua rocks with a white orchid and the candle.
  13. I'm using MAC for my wedding day makeup. I don't use foundation, so I have no suggestions. Here's a pic of my makeup trial and I've learned to recreate the look for my big day.
  14. If you don't like blue, don't choose it. Everything on your wedding day should reflect you and make you happy. I voted for the clear.
  15. I'm finally doing my first siggy challenge. These are my flower inspirations for my DIY bouquet.
  16. That's a lot of $ for a rehersal dinner. Is there a restaurant on site that you can make a group reservation?
  17. That totally sucks! I hope you're able to get your date at another location in that area since some guests already have their plane tickets booked. Good luck.
  18. Hello there. Welcome to the board! You're day is right around the corner---OMG.
