I was laughing and he was sitting next to me and he's like "Jackee you look like a beaver!"..and he started cracking up laughing that lil fucker. I was so pissed. I wanted to tell him he was about 20 lbs over weight but my mom once said "If you don't have anything nice to say- dont say it!" lolol So THAT is what I told the lil meatball.
  4. Friggin derelict's! You're probably looking cute and stylish. I love that look, the loose fit shirts/dresses.

Thanks ladies once again for your help.

The # is "LZ3842" Spring '08 collection, Lazaro....

  11. Crap people- I just need to vent to you before poor Jose (guy who sits next to me at work) here gets an earful. I know it's early as hell to be looking at BM dresses but I am looking anyway so I can see what I like. Plus I have my dress so I'm looking for styles that will compliment it. So I found this dress below that I love, the girls love it too. Anyway- I called a shop that carries it, but...it's $290! Added to that are the alterations, and shoes. So I'm thinking it will be around $390 or more for everything said and done. And that is just DAMN rediculous, I am not going to put them in a hole like that. They'll be helping with the shower and whatnot too so wtf. I wish I could make thier dresses. Either that or I'll put down $100.00 for each girl, I only have 3... Ahhhhh it will work out I know but I needed to get that out! I might even see another dress since my wedding is 10 years away! It's Lazaro, and I'd be getting it in eggplant (hopefully the fabric looks pretty or else I'll be writing a thread on that too!)

And I call Jeff (brother) and he's like "Um - no...go take a nap!" hahahahaha
  16. I THINK #2, but it's hard to pick. It depends on what yur cake look like...if there's a lot going on, I'd go with #1 since it's more simple. If your cake is alil more simple, go with #2 maybe. Do you have a pic of cake?
  17. Ours was the only date available...which just so happens to be ON Joe's b-day I rrrrreally didn't want that but Joe kept saying to do it it's no big deal, he would love it if it was on that day, blah-z-blah. I kept thinking that I wanted our anniversary to be on it's own day but after thinking it over, it's really no big deal See- it was starting to get to be a pain in the a** finding a date b/c the church and hall we wanted kept conflicting ( Oh well, I hope I don't regret it. I'll have to surprise Joe with a bday cake that day.
  18. I am letting my hair grow too. I think I like it better short (never thought I'd say that since my hair has been long most of my life) however I know I want it up for my wedding day. I want to be able to pull it all back and have no pieces sticking out. It been growing pretty fast so I'm praying that it's long enough by next year. There are so many myths about how long hair grows...eg: 1/2 inch every month, but I'm not sure what is true. My brother's a hair stylist and he said it depends on the person hair. So I dunno.
  19. Hey congrats! Have fun planning!!

I feel like I found the perfect shoes for this dress, the fabric (from what I can tell) matches perfect! Both colors. I've been a BM many times but this is by far the best dress I ever had to wear! haha THANKS CARLYYY! I'm wondering though about the sand with these shoes, I might get a cute pair of flats and wear them at the recept.
  21. As some of you may know, I'm in Carly's wedding in May. Here's our dress and I saw these shoes on Baker's website. I need help deciding what color to get. I was leaning toward the beige since it might match more clothes I have. I'm going to get them this weekend I think.
  22. OH MY GOD my heart was racing too just reading that. That is so scary I would have shit myself. I would have threw the $10 at them and said "Keep it toward fixing the damn elevator!" Glad you're safe though!
