And the clear base coat should help the color to not seep into your nails, but I don't think that will keep the yellow out. You mean soaking my hands in denture cleaner? I'll try it. How long should I let them breath, I dont have the patience.

I have gone tanning since HS (11 years ago) during the summer months. This year I went a few times before Carly's wedding for a base but have not gone since and am completely banning them. So maybe I will see a difference soon, ? And I do use self tanning lotions too! I wash my hands right after applying though, ?
  3. SUP YO! I take care of my nails, always file them, give myself mani's, take care of cuticles, etc. I love doing my nails ;o) But for some reason, they have a yellowish tint to them and I can't go without nail polish. In fact, that might be WHY they are yellow b/c I have always had them painted sine I was a kid. I tried to help this years ago by using a clear base coat underneath b/c I heard that would help, but it didn't. I even tried letting them "air out" for months but it didnt work and I can't stand being without nail polish for too long. I even went as far as putting bleach and alil water in a bowl and dipping my hands in, umm not a good idea. Does anyone have any tips on how to get nice, natural no-yellow nails?

  5. That should be a great time, how exciting!!! I go there sometimes, but not enough to know the "hot spots". My brothers GF grew up there so I could ask her if you wanted. I dunno whats good or anything, howeverrrrr I do know that the hot roasted peanuts they sell on the corners are to die for! So try them, hahaha. Not much help, sorry! But have fun!
  6. I'm voting for #1, they are different and I personally love the colored stones. But #2 are very pretty too, I'd hav to see them on.

Seriously I have heard about "the big one" since I started 1st grade. We do have a first aid kit and have plenty of drinking water just in case. Wow, 90! Thats a lot. And yes, I heard them saying that too about the "The Big One", I hope that never happens!

  19. That's a cute idea. But just so I'm sure, are you looking for long poems, or one liner love quotes? A small quote that comes to mind right away, only b/c I am using it on the front of my mass program is: "I love you not for who you are, but for who I am when I am with you." It's a short one, so again, let me know if you're looking for longer type poems and I can try to help..
  20. I watched this on the news last night when I got home. I was telling Joe "OMG some of my BDW friends live out that way", and he looked at me like I was nuts. Well anyway, I thought of you guys, & hope you're still ok with the aftershocks. They were saying they can be worse sometimes, which to me is nuts and so scarey. Hope they're done soon, not too sure how long they last.
  21. Ha all of your bday signs are too cute. Have a great birthday Morgan!!!! SMILE...it's your day to SHINE!!
