I most certaily would like to hang out with you gals, so I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what you decide and let you know if I am able to make it. I am also going to Irish Weekend (HOLLLAA), and the following is Joe's mom 60th surprise party, the 29th is my bday so we are supposed to do dinner but ?? It's a busy month for me.

Aw, what a shame. Don't panic though, everything is fixable. Ok- so there is no way you can be honest and tell her they weren't what you expected?? If you do truely feel that it wall make things weird, just say you spilled something on them and you're girls ordered new ones. Make sure you post pix, and keep us posted! Good luck!

Joe has sirius, the portable one. are they all portable? i dont even know but anyway, it was in my car for a few weeks and all i had it on was raggae sation, or the old school hip hop. people must have thought i was a nut job if they saw me, cuz i was def singing and dancing in my car. i gotta get it back in my car though (

SYKE, i am totally f'ing with you, lol. no, i dont think you're weird at all! to me, id rather keep it close friends and family for the intimacy part of it and also, cash has a lot to do with it. i dont have the $ to put out for people i dont know. if they are a guest of the friend or family member, sure, they are more than welcome...but if its just a random person i'd rather not. but there are def no "rules" to go by, to each their own ya know? It's ok, just drink the wine and you'll feel better soon ;o) I went to two stores- the first one I tried on so many diff style dresses and I though they were all gorgeous, I didn't love them. I felt the same way you did, like I'd never find it. The second store I went to there were so many I loved but after being there for a while, I narrowed it down to this one I loved. I waited about a week before I jump on it, went again and totally loved it so thats the one I got. Don't get discouraged. Next time you go dress shopping, go with a positive attitude, and be patient, you'll find it, trust me. Maybe hold off alil and try again later, you have plenty of time. The reason I have mine (I kinda feel like its early to have mine) is b/c I was originally going to get married this Sept so I kinda started sooner, and than decided to push it back. Good luck next time you decide to go ;o)

...and I can't wait! I am OUTTY at 4pm to go get my hair done right from work, running to a few stores and finishing up my packing, going to bed nice and early so I can get up and roll. We're renting Joe's uncles place on the beach in Brigantine for a week. Ahhh it's so needed right now, both of us have been super busy at work and I can't wait to wake up to the sound of waves crashing outside! So don't miss me too much I kinda wish I had a lap top so I could "check in", I have yet to get one. I'll post pix when I get back! PEACE!
