  1. aw so cute, i love them! again- you looked so pretty! and great work nathan!
  2. ccarmany- i guess it also could depend on what type of pictures you and your fi like too...a good photographer can take amazing shots any time of day. i kinda like the later in the day shots where the sun is setting, but its a preference. either way - if u wanted to sleep in or not- your pix will turn out great. good luck!

  6. I think Megan's is the best way to go about it.. say you're disappointed but wish she would have been woman anough to tell you. good luck whatever you do!!!!!
  7. What a sucky situation you're in, so sorry. It's so hard to say what you should do. Part of me wants to say to say something but more of me thinks not too. What does your FI think? IMO it's kinda like, they are who they are and won't change, so just consider the source and let it go. It's a shame and I feel bad that your FI was let down like that.
  8. I never did see this show but I hear its SO good. I will have to watch it!
  9. very cute! omg yariii you're getting closeee!!! hehehahahaha
  10. hm thx girls! im leaning toward the gluing them in option. my hair is super thick and so i dont shampoo every day. prob 2-3 times a week. i wish sewing them in wouldnt kill my hair but im just afraid. i never heard of the clip in ones but ill have to ask the hair dresser bout them...
  11. I wanted to get one length extensions, about 6-7 inches or so longer than my hair now. My bro is a stylist but don't know much about extensions so I thought I'd ask you guys. What is the best type to get? Do they damage hair? How long do they hold in for? Do you shampoo like normal?
  12. Aw man, did it??!! WTF. I missed it again, I gotta watch it tonight. Last night I took allergy meds and it knocked me out early! haha I'm still sleepy from them.
  13. have a great time! cant wait to hear all about it and see pix. be safe!
  14. i think they are neat and def diff!!! i like them!
  15. I just read entire thread, I didnt realize some people didn't like this show for those reasons mentioned. Aw that sux, I love this show and the parents. Really though, like ErinB mentioned- you have to take everything with a grain of salt. It's a reality show and that's what they do- focus on the negatives to make the ratings go up and they see that Kate has a strong personality so of course they are going to make her the "bitch". To me I watch it b/c it's a fun cute show, it makes me laugh. Kate and Jon do really good things with their kids so the kids have memories. I think that in itself over powers kate's bitchiness. They could sit in all day with the kids b/c taking them out is just too much, but they don't b/c they are good parents. If they dont pay for it, oh well! Shoot, if someone is offering to take me and my family to Disney World, go right ahead! The kids are SO well behaved and they didnt learn that themselves. The potty thing, I must have missed that episode, I dont recall them having to sit for 2 hours. If thats true though, I also don't agree either but everyone has their own way of parenting. Some parents beat their kids b/c they pee in their pants, so it could be worse. I agree that many women (and men) have 8+ kids, (i have tons of relatives like this too) but TV approached them to do the show and it turned huge. I say good for them, luck hits people in diff ways and they got lucky imo. Lucky b/c they are able to do all these things with their family, whether its with help or not. I personally would never be on reality show, I'm just too weirded out about being on camera or film, but if anyone in my fam was approached by a tv show that was willing to pay for stuff, Id tell them to go for it!
  16. Oh wow, i didnt know that either! how cute! i hope they filmed it, im sure they did.
  17. Wedding fairy A married couple in their early 60's were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant. Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table. She said, 'For being such an exemplary married couple and for being loving to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish.' The wife answered, 'Oh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband.' The fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! - two tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her hands. The husband thought for a moment: 'Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again. I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wi fe 30 years younger than m e.' The wife, and the fairy, were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish. So the f airy waved her magic wand and poof!...the husband became 92 years old. The moral of this story: Men who are ungrateful bastards should remember fairies are female

I'm still waiting to hear back from my last BM, but the other 2 are split (but of course, have agreed to wear whatever I decide.) It'll be a tough decision, since I am trying to keep the whole affair casual and laid-back. (Aren't we all?) I was concerned at first about my dress being too formal, but the FMIL cried when I walked out of the room and my mother and I love it, so we're working with it. The FI will be wearing a tan linen suit with a white button-down linen shirt, no tie. Also, 2 of the BMs aren't exactly financially set, so I'm trying to keep dress costs for them down since they're already paying for the plane tix. Maybe some dressy accessories..... Have a great weekend ladies! Yeah I love that orange one too. Say you go to a store (like Cache, where the orange dress is from) seriously talk to the manager and tell her its a bm dress, and see if they can give a certain % off as they all will be buying the dress there. It seriously works! Also if you find that you love a dress but its just too expensive, you can find something identical for cheaper somewhere else. The girls on this forum always find stuff! Good luck, keep us posted!
  20. YAYYYYY congrats on your new ride!!! what color is it?

  22. It is a really cute dress. I looked at it again and it prob looks adorable on. I want to see your dress!
  23. I do think the dress is cute! I guess it depends on HOW formal YOUR dress is and how much you want that to flow within your wedding, kwim? These remind me of beachy dresses. Anything can be dressed up though, with the right acces., shoes, etc. I'd have to see it on... Have you look in David's Bridal? They have printed dresses there that are really cute for DW's.....
  24. omg i am totally printing this thread out and am going to try everything! hahaha GREAT THREAD! lol
