oooooooooooooooooohh that is pretty!!! congrats!! i went to two stores and tried on a total of prob 25-30 dresses. im a nut case though. i feel like that is a lot of dresses. hahahah

I think I'd be KINDA bothered but part of me wouldn't really care. BUT keep in mind though that I haven't been married yet, so a lot of the girls who are married probably have better advice, hence their experience. I do think it's tacky, ecsp if he does it before you're big day. Guys just don't look at it in that way though. Maybe you can have someone casually mention to the dude "...maybe you should hold off until the wedding's over.." and bring it up that way. He might honestly just not realize.

aw im so sorry. i might not be much help b/c i changed my plans around too. i started looking into having a destination wed but changed my mind. i am having it home, for different reasons. but back to you- you have to remember that its YOUR day so i think you should totally do what you want. if thats a destination wedding to st lucia, so be it. a lot of people wont be able to make it but thats comes with having a destination wedding and you have to not take it personal. i was recently in a wedding where not all the bridesmaids could go, its hurtful but again, u have to know that not everyone will be able to attend. you can find some good deals with ta's, just look around and get diff quotes. and try diff locations like you said. dont give up yet. id look into it alil more and see what you think..

aw that is just terrible ( so sorry. id say try to stich it up and see how it looks. IF you decide to shorten it, just use the beads you already have on the veil, and sew on bottom on "new" shorten veil. on a funnier note- we used to call my old boss "roomba" b/c he didnt do anything except roam the halls over and over again. he just circled the entire building.

omlord. she called me and its in! ARGHHH i am always jumping the gun i swear, and i always put my foot in my mouth. (they ARE a wonderful salon, ha) im sitting here waiting for bad news, like they never put the order in or something. i just got all worked up for nada. well thx for the support anyway. she said i have time until my 1st fitting but i can come whenever i want to "visit" the dress. which im doing next week and i cant wait to post pix!!!!!!

oh yikes, thats what i thought. i called numerous times and every time they say "it should be in next week, we will call u and schedule fitting when its here..." they nev call me so i wind up calling them and hear the same thing. today- she said "let me take your # and i will call u back.." so now im thinking something is wrong! its strange b/c this shop is normally wonderful! at least they were when my sister got her dress there. i would have recommended them to everyone.

hey, just wondering this b/c it seems like mine is taking forever. i ordered it back in jan.

UPDATE- everyone- thank you soooo much for your advice and help, you are the best!!!!! we searched web last night, joe called a few diff hotels and spoke to people in hawaii- who were very helpful too- and after going over it all, we decided we are going to stay at our original hotel. the pool shouldnt be the t-breaker, we are in hawaii and will most likely be going on adventures, going to the beach, etc. i dont want to sit near a pool all day in hawaii when i can do that around here, kwim? id rather go to beach anyway. everything else about that hotel, and that area sounds like paradise. i was worried though about the level of construction they'd be doing. the noise, if they' be drilling, dust everywhere, etc. so joe called them and they said its nothing major, they're just re-facing the pool. they said there will be not drilling, etc. also, they might have another hotel pool available for the guest. so, there ya have it. thanks danielle for following up, and again- thanks to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xo

Car- Yes, TA gave us the four hotels to choose from, so we won't have to pay more $ basically, and availability I guess. joe is talking to her and calling me to check on computer, so I'm kinda the middle man here trying to figure shit out. Im getting annoyed. I wanna call her now but I really cant at work. Tina G. just got back from Maui, I just emailed her and she said Lahaina is 5 minutes from where we originally were, so I think we're going to stay there at the kahana beach vaca club. Also, my sister and Jay went there for a day during their cruise and said they loved it there. thank you everyone!!! keep it coming.

this sounds awesome! i saw this once on tv and thought it be neat to learn. and also, maybe i can give joe alil show on our first night together as hubby and wifey. he'd prob pass out though b/c doing a strip tease isnt like me. when i saw this on tv, i think it was e!, i was like DAMMIT why cant i be sexy, why cant i do that??!! i wanna look at places near me!!!!!!! (carly you wanna do it??!! maybe its one night a week?) so, im sure you feel like u did a workout too? are your legs and ass sore?
