    Hey Ladies! Where are we all at Our weddings are fast approaching!!! So far, we have about 55 people booked and counting, I got my dress, still looking for MOH dress and BM outfit, and we found a suit for FI... We are also doing a site visit in the beginning of March to check out the resort and meet with the coordinator,,,, had to give this thread a bump!!

    Whatever, they stink... my friend is a groomer and she says a good groomer should be able to control a dog unless it is like a massive dog w/ behavior problems (full grown wild Akita maybe?)... She jokes about some dogs trying to bite at her... I can't believe they said that to you!

    Does anyone have Paloma's e-mail? I e-mailed Jazmin and said we would like to meet with her to discuss things when we do our site visit from March 6-10 ( my present!)... But I have not heard back. I think it is appropriate to want to meet with them to see the locations, and ask other questions... Right? Should I contact Paloma? Does anyone have her e-mail?

    I feel the same way... I have managed to lose a few pounds, but I am seriously trying to watch everything I eat and go to the gym... I have always had a struggle with weight... Best advice? make and eating plan, and don't stray as much as you can. And workout! You will totally drop the weight!

    Would you reccomend getting a silk suit? I asked this on another thread already... I don't want my poor FI to get heat stroke in a suit, but I know linen wrinkles easily... any ideas?

    Hey ladies... We are thinking of getting FI a tan silk suit for the wedding (so it will not be so hot) but I wanted to know if there is anywhere on premise that they will press the suit/ steam it to get the wrinkles out?? Thanks!

    i am assuming a burnt CD will work right? Like if i burn the songs to a cd from itunes?? i am recording a song for the ceremony so i am scared if i get there and it doesnt work!

    The first one! and the last one, but I like the first the best... not to be random... I can tell you went to Davids... try on the one I am getting.. It is in Ivory, and I didnt think I would like it til I tried it on and I love it!!! Its style number T8818... Don't judge it til you try it on! I thought it was ugly on the rack until I put it on... I love it!!!

    I thought they provide a DJ there? I mean, we are going to be getting married on the Tulum side, and I was under the impression that they were providing the DJ, and that it is $150 per hour... and we could give him some CDs if we wanted? Is this true?? I am all confused... Plus... another question... I think someone posted it before... are you supposed to make a CD with you walk down the aisle song, all that stuff? Sorry, my brain is fried lol

    One of my good friends is from Kingston, she actually just got back from there. She told me that the resorts are safe, its the towns, cities, and people who live there. Police are corrupt there too, but as she told me, the resorts are like "a different world".

    My friends Husband has the tungsten band. She said they do not scratch or break, and if ever your husband would need a bigger size, he would have to send his ring back to the company to get it replaced because they do not resize the rings.

    So, basically, we can get legally married here in the U.S. and then have any one of our friends perform the ceremony even if they are not ordained? Where do you obtain the writing for the ceremony??

    Tell him no! It is your day... We have to learn that sometimes it is okay to say NO... I think as women we are trained that it is mean or something. It's not!!! This is your day! Be honest.... We are allowed to say no!!!

    Okay, I am really excited... As a birthday/ graduation present, my FI booked us a trip to go check out the resort in early March (yippee!) He booked the Coba section since we will be in the Tulum for our wedding, he wanted to try a something a little different but still get to check out the resort (I am still in schock... major shock)... What is the best a la cart restaurant in Coba? And if anyone wants ANY info, let me know! I am going to try to book a meeting with Jazmin to see if we can look at flowers/ things like that... anyway, let me know! So excited, he told me tonight!!!!!
