  1. My mom loves PB and Miracle Whip! I always thought she was a weirdo, but it doesn't taste bad. I always ate PB and honey on toast.
  2. Welcome to the forum! I just got married in Jamaica and I loved it!
  3. Wow! You have so much great stuff! I want to be a guest! Jamaica is calling my name and I've only been home for a week! Congrats! I can't wait to hear how it all comes together.
  4. The easiest way to copy them from photobucket. Try these directions and see if that helps. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t16832

    ROR bride

Welcome to the forum! I went to a Halloween wedding once where everyone had to be in costume. It was SO much fun!
  6. I think it is only on Showtime which pisses me off because it is the only movie channel we don't get. I love that show. THe new age medicine was great when they started putting the plungers on people! It comes in on our bedroom tv, but starting the 15th you have to have a digital box on every tv so my showtime will go bye-bye! They have some good shows out now!
  7. I'm glad little boy redeemed your evening of mindless TV. There isn't much to choose from in summer. I hate that it's a reality show, but if you need a laugh check out "I survived a Japanese game show". What some people will do for money never ceases to amaze me!
  8. Congrats! We're waiting for pictures!
  9. Love the shoes! I love a bargain more! I agree with everyone else, I don't think they will look bad. They don't look like a dark ivory. If you can dye them, go for it.
  10. I don't know that it says anywhere what the different categories are - Lurker, Noob, Full, etc. I think someone mentioned that they had increased so who knows. I look at it like a surprise when the title changes. As far as I know nothing special happens and it doesn't effect your points (it goes by post count), it mainly just shows how obsessed you are with the forum!
  11. Welcome to the forum! It has definitely been a lifesaver for me!
  12. Yeah! Better you than me! LOL I'm not much of a camper, but then again I've never done real grown-up camping. I'd probably give it a shot again. I just don't do well with bugs and I am terrified of snakes!
  13. Hang in there Abbie! I personally think you should buy a man girdle as punishment for the GM! I'm so jealous you get to be off work for 18 days! You are NOT going to want to go back! Take my advice and know that while you have worked so hard and you know all the details, other people do not. They won't notice if any of the little things aren't done. The shoes and shirt situation will work out. And at least now you know to always ask mom for sizes! Worst case scenario, he could stuff the toes of his shoes long enough to make it down the aisle! I'm here for anything you need me to do or just talk you down!
  14. We drove past it on the way to Negril and it was definitely beautiful! With our budget, AI was the way to go. My understanding is that Half Moon has an AI plan, but it doesn't cover certain restaurants, mini bar items, etc. I really just wanted to get somewhere and not have anything else to worry about. We would still consider going there on a trip for just the two of us.
  15. I did an aisle runner and was happy with it. I originally purchased a colored runner but it was teh wrong color and I didn't have time to get a new one in before we left. I think the runner gave me a tad more stability in my heeled flops.
  16. Great job! Our guests were all really excited about the boarding pass invites as well. It is nice when you can take pride in a job well done!

Welcome! I hear you on the date consolidation! Our anniversary fell on Easter this year and we really didn't think people would want to travel or be without their kids, so we waited. I'm probably still going to say our anniversary is March 23rd! It doesn't seen right to have to start over after 6 1/2 years!
  18. If you go right after Mexico, I would look at some place in South or Central America. Costa Rica is very relaxing but they also have a focus on eco-tourism so there are active things to do like hiking, etc. I haven't been but a friend went for her honeymoon and loved it. Belize is also beautiful and the dollar goes pretty far. Next year, DH and I are going to Greece, so I think you should just wait and you can tag along with us! LOL I have a client with a second home there who has offered it up. I need to check and see how serious he was about letting us use the house. My understanding is that Bora Bora is very expensive and I know I would want to stay there for two weeks or more since it takes a while to get there. That might be better saved for a later vacation.
  19. Welcome! I know you'll find lots of ideas and advice on the ROR!

Welcome Shelli! Your wedding is approaching quickly! How are your plans coming along?
  21. I haven't forgotten that I need to send my gift but I did forget I was supposed to be receiving one! Dammit! Why did I check the thread? I could have done the happy dance on the porch when I got my mystery package! Who am I kidding? I get so excited over anything that isn't junk mail, I'll still do the happy dance.

    So....

I went through periods of not being excited. Sometimes it was because I was so busy at work the wedding just felt like one more thing to do. Don't worry as teh wedding is closer and the day of especially, you will be excited.
