  1. Welcome to the forum! 4 months is ample time to plan. The key will be flexibility. Do you have a dress yet? There are tons of great ideas here, so just start searching!
  2. Morgan, fantastic post! Ok, this is really stupid. My dad left when I was 3 so I never really had a male influence in my life. He also worked a lot so most of the time we were together he was sleeping. He sleeps in this weird position with his arm over his head (at least he used to, it's not like I watch my dad sleep now...) So, I thought all boys slept with their arm over thier head. When I tucked my dolls or stuffed animals in, I would always but the boys' arm up. LOL

He hits on all the girls. He was always talking about how pretty Kerrington was, and she was like 17! The episode when he was teasing Mary about sleeping over at his house or whatever, might have traumatized me. Thank goodness it was recorded so I could FF!
  4. My mom was sneaky too. The car won't go unless everyone has their seatbealt on. You can't cut the crust off the bread because that's where all the vitamins are. (like an apple) I was huge on commercials. I really wasn't allowed to watch TV, so when I did I memorized everything. I followed everything with a slogan. Every movie was, "Mom I want to go see...It's coming soon to a theater near you!" It took a LOT of convincing to get me to believe that you didn't spell relief R-O-L-A-I-D-s.
  5. Happy Birthday! Do you have any special plans? You know if you get gifts, you have to post pictures! LOL

There hasn't been anything she can't do. I'm not her biggest fan though because of the way she acted at the auditions. Courtney is good, but I don't feel anything is super special about her. I honestly thought Chelsie was a better dancer. I think Joshua is amazing and so strong! I like that he is really humble. Some of the guys in the past have been total cocky bastards. I love Twitch for his personality and original style. Reguardless of who wins, I think they will all go on to very successful careers. I'm so excited to watch tonight!
  7. I ALWAYS lose in my hands and feet first! It is super annoying! I would certainly rather it be in my tummy or thighs, but even my face would be better than my hands! I never lose anything from my chest...The girls are here to stay!
  8. We had about 90 minutes. After the ceremony we had cocktails in the garden. Our guests could mingle but were still close while we were taking pictures. There was about 15 minutes for people to freshen up before headding off to dinner.
  9. You are too photogenic! Your teeth are perfect! What a beautiful smile! Elizabeth did a fabulous job, but we would expect nothing less. She was able to capture some intimate mooments and you two looked like you were having fun while you were doing it!
  10. I was just thinking earlier today about Gwen. We aren't getting the hourly updates now! She will certainly have an interesting story to pass along! I'm so happy everyone is home safe and healthy and happy.
  11. Wow Lisa! I can't imagine what you are feeling right now. I admire your strength and courage for making such a difficult decision and following through with it. Only you know what is best for you and your life. BDW will be here to support you!
  12. Quote: I try to limit my collections to pictures so I don't clutter my place. my place is small & I'm naturally messy. That is a fantastic idea! My photographer has a garden gnome that was liberated from a graden. His name is Felix and he loves to travel. He stows away on various vacations or will just come hang out in your house and take pictures. There are several albums of his adventures and I think he even has his own MySpace page! We wanted to take him to Jamaica, but didn't want to risk him getting broken or accused of smuggling drugs.
  13. That sounds like fun! We are thinking of trying OR next time we go to Jamaica. I don't know if DH would fit into a bobsled though...
  14. I've got several small collections. I collect Limoges porceline boxes. My aunt got me started on them. For a while I was all about anything french, so I have the Eiffle Tower, Arc De Triumph, etc. I have lots of other french stuff, too. My grandfater used to collect salt and pepper shakers, so I inherited his collection, which is really neat and I'm sure worth some money. I save to corks from my wine bottles and toss them in this huge glass vase in my dining room. I'm having to put them in smaller containers now. I'm kindo of a wino! When I was younger I collected Barbie Dolls. RIght now they are all boxed up. I'll just hold onto them and hope they are worth something someday.
  15. Welcome to the forum! I can't speak for the RIU, but I just went with the free package and I had a beautiful wedding. I did my own silk flowers and paid a minimal amount to decorate the ceremony site ($250 for fresh flowers and an aisle runner.) I think you can easily stay within your budget if you try. There is still plenty of time and you can shop around to find the best deals. Good Luck and Happy Planning!

    Greetings!

Welcome to the forum! There are so many destinations, it's hard to choose! I would suggest making a "wish list" of everything you want in a resort and go from there. Be sure to check out the Wedding Reviews section for more specific info on the resorts. Good luck and happy planning!

    Hello!

    Welcome to the Forum!
  18. How beautiful! Mike and I will definitely have to look into visiting RM on our next vacation. Do you think it would be a huge pain in the ass to take my dress and do an anniversary TTD? LOL
  19. Better late than never... Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day and James got you something really nice! LOL
  20. Happy Legal Day Stephanie! I hope it is wonderful! Don't forget pictures! We'll want to see and hear all about it! Congrats!
  21. Is there anyway you could post the picture so we could come up with a better caption?
  22. I agree, if his parents are footing the bill, you might have to bend a little. If not, then it's your call. Who are these people? Family, friends, business associates? A good rule to follow is if you haven't been out to dinner or seen this person in 6 months, you do not have to invite them. Obviously the rules are a little different for OOT family, but that might avoid having every neighbor and your graduation high school class on the list. If his parents are stil insistent that the list grow, tell them it is $100 pp (or whatever the cost is) and ask them to pay.
  23. Try this link...Immediate Delivery Bridesmaid Dresses :: Immediate Delivery Dresses :: House of Brides You can also search by designer and see what is available. Is there a boutique where you could purchase the sample if you explain the situation?
  24. If you can't find one in Jade, is there an accent color you could use? You can also order a fabric swatch in Jade. A local bridal store should be able to give you one. That way she could go ahead ans start shopping...
  25. How beautiful! You both really look like you were having fun!
