We offered 2 packages, a 7 night and a 4 night. If anyone wanted to stay longer/shorter, etc. it was up to them.
With our guests a lot of consideration was put into cost and what their personal schedule was. My MOH would have loved to have been there the whole week but couldn't take that much time off work.
As for room categories, again that is an individual choice. I will say that every penny is worth it to upgrade the rooms on the cruise ship!
Party & Wedding - Paper Lanterns, Parasols, Fans, Candle Holders, String Lights (Paper Lantern) has some.
I bought mine from Japanese Kimono, Chinese Paper Lanterns, Chopsticks, Chinese Dresses
I don't know if this will help, but if you run into trouble selling the gown, my understanding of Davids is that they will take it back for a transferable store credit.
You might have better luck selling a $1000 GC. Unfortunately not all of us are a size 8! LOL. The shipping certainly wouldn't cost as much!
Good Luck! I hope it sells! It is a beautiful dress!
I loved to boys' Russian dance! It was so technical and I felt it was a new take on "battle". Like Alyssa, I feel like we know they can both do hip-hop.
There were several dancers from seasons past that were missing, Danny, Sabra, Jamie, etc.
I LOVED that the judges danced! I think it really showed their training and experience. Mary's timing and precision were amazing! She didn't need all of the lifts and tricks to make it a good performance or add filler. Someone challenged the panel to dance next year so that would be fun. I'd love to see Mia and Tabitha and Napoleon perform.
I'm glad Katee got something. You know she'll go on to bigger and better things.
I was happy for Josh to win. I don't think he expected it.
From now on I'm going to have to really watch every dance movie and see if I can pick any of the SYTCYD cast out!
Great job! I'm impressed with where you are right now! I was making programs at 2 am before I left for the airport!
Don't worry about the dress, it will work out just fine!
Ours was random. We just new it had to be summer so our guests could travel. (A lot of them are in education).
We wanted March 23rd, our anniversary, but this year it fell on Easter and I didn't want to wait another year!
The Couples Chain has just won 2 awards for 2007/2008!
Couples Resorts has been rated as the best all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean by readers of Travel+Leisure magazine. The prestigious “World’s Best Awards†placed Couples SweptAway as the top all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean. Couples Negril placed a close second. The resort was rated number 11 among 898 of the finest places to stay on the list.
I did turquoise and aqua for an ocean pallet. My flowers were white orchids for centerpieces. The BM bouquets were all different shades of pink orchids, with a few green ones thrown in.
My bouquet was white and pink peonies with orchids.
What beautiful pictures! Your wedding day was the same as my AHR! It was a good day.
We sailed passed the resort and it is just as pretty as the pictures! I even teared up looking at them.
I had to laugh at the one of your BM under your skirt. I have some of the same ones. My girls were fanning me from underneath it was so hot!!!
I've missed you too! It seems like a lot of the girls who were B2Bs with me are less active now that we're married! Or the late summer brides are all busy getting hitched and stuff.
Have fun camping. If you (or anyone really) goes flying off the tube, we'd love pics or video. I can just picture "Action Rachel and Stevil Kenevil" LOL
I would take the deal! If they think they can make it the same size, why not?
There are lots of options for alterations. Worst case scenario, they could convert the back to a corset so you can adjust accordingly.
That's great. I love Dali. If you're ever in St. Augustine FL, the Dali museum is there and well worth the trip.
When do they announce the winner and what is the prize?
We did Adam Sandler's "Grow old with you".
I also like "Love You Madly" by Cake. It was my first choice, but I forgot to tell the DJ and he didn't have it.
"I Melt" by Jason Mraz from 50 First Dates is good too. It has an island feel to it.
"How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor or Michael Buble
"Recipe for Love" by Harry Connik Jr.
I found this list:
Wedding Music: Cake Cutting Songs
There are 200+ songs with lyrics so I'm sure you can find something there!
Welcome Monique!
I just got married in Negril and it was the best decision for us! You will be so happy with your DW! Then, if you want to have a party when you get home, you can keep the celebration going.
Congrats and Happy Planning!
