My tiara was small. It was also $15 on e-bay. I don't think I have any pics of the back of my hair, but I had 2 sparkly embellished bobby pins, so the back didn't look naked. I liked that after I took my veil off, my hair still had something special. Sorry they aren't the best pictures. I guess I don't really have any close ups!

I love #2. I think it is dressier than 1. Your dress is fancy enough that you wouldn't want to downplay the BM dresses. I think #2 would be fine for your sister and give an illusion of her having a bust because of the criss-cross. Another thing to keep in mind is tan-lines. The neck on #1 will show shoulder strap lines. I'm assuming your lil'sis won't be wearing a strapless suit.

Can you find a linen texture in white? It might be more expensive, but you might want to try some place like Michaels, JoAnn, Hobby Lobby etc. in the scrapbook section. Often they have the paper 50% off so it is about .15 per sheet. Can you get more than one per page? On my invites I had a metallic petalfold, texture linen backing and metallic invite. I liked the way they came out.

I agree that it is all about the eyes. Go for a smoky look, maybe even with fake eyelashes. I like MAC. Your make-up should probably be darker to show up better in pictures and have the "high class hooker" look.

I like them! I think they would look good with the paper lanterns. The good news too, is that they would be easy to transport!

Welcome and Congrats! I was married in Jamaica and loved it! There are lots of resorts to choose from and it is very easy to be legally married. One thing to keep in mind is that these planners do this for a living so there really isn't much need to stress.

Did you get white metallic paper or cardstock? PaperandMore.com has the regular paper, though it is a little thicker than normal printer paper. I was able to print on cardstock, but had to do it one sheet at a time. It was kind of a pain in the ass, but I was able to set the pages out so there was no smudging. For things like my timeline, etc I used Super Bright white 67lb presentation paper from Office Depot. I really do like the metallic better, especially if your other paper is metallic.

I like the color. Surely with the sparkles around it people won't get the wrong idea...

Yeah, but if your dad was there... After you are potty trained he probably shouldn't see your hoo-hoo. I swear teo of my most embarrassing moments were with a friends dad. We were about 14 or so and had come back late from a football game or something. We decided we were hungry so just went down to the kitchen in nothing but t shirts and underwear. There sits her dad in his underwear at the kitchen table. He has this booming voice and just goes "Hey ladies! We're all in our undies!" and starts laughing. It's not that big of a deal, but I think this was the first time I had ever met her dad. Then, years later, he came into her room to ask her something. Too bad she wasn't in there and I had just got out of the shower and was completely naked! That made for an awkward moment to say the least!
