They also do alterations (very reasonably) in house. They have free shipping on orders over $100. You also get reward points, so for every $500 you spend, you get $50 back. We bought all the suits and had everyone pay us. The certificate paid for DH's shirt and accessories. This is what we bought: Joseph & Feiss Resort Three-Button, Non-Vent,Tan Silk Suit | Men's Wearhouse and others: All Suits | Suits | Category | Men's Wearhouse
  2. Look at Pacific Orchid: Paradise Found Hawaiian Shirts - Captain's Closet It is also here (but more expensive) in sizes S-4XL Amazon.com: Pacific Orchid Men's Hawaiian Aloha Shirt: Apparel It might be fun if your FI did this: Tommy Bahama 'Zen Garden' Linen Campshirt - Tropical Prints - Nordstrom and GMs did this: Tommy Bahama 'Capistrano' Campshirt - Tropical Prints - Nordstrom
  3. You can get the dresses anywhere. Things to consider are the number of attendants (Do you need to find 8 matching dresses), is there a particular color you are looking for, and what sizes are your BMs. It can be hard to find the same dress in large quantities or drastically different sizes. Often the same dress doesn't come in regular and plus sizes unless it is a BM gown. My dresses were Mori Lee Affairs Collection, strapless, and tea-length. The selection of styles and colors were great and the dresses are all under $150 (I think)
  4. You should check with the resort and see if they have someone they recommend. I know our resort and several of the others use "regulars". You should also check the outside vendor policy. We had the option of the Mento Band - a traditional folk music band or a steel drum band. Prices ranged from $150 an hour for the mento to $300-$650 for the steel drums. You might get better rates going through the hotel as well.
  5. We got ours at Mens Warehouse. You may have trouble finding the lighter suits and linen in stores now because the season is changing. The flip side is that you can probably find some good sales.

Welcome! You will find all kinds of inspiration and advice here! The forum was probably my greatest planning resource. Congrats!
  8. Since we've had a baby boom around here, I was thinking we needed to get little onesies made but I think Rasta Baby might be better!

Welcome! The forum will be a wonderful resource!
  12. How pretty! The blue and white have such a great contrast with the pink! I'm sure the pro pics will be amazing! Did you change your dress at the reception?
  13. Are you looking for someone in Jamaica or someone who will travel to Jamaica? Also, where are you getting married as some resorts don't allow outside vendors (Sandals) or they charge a fee. I brought my own photog but these were recommended: Sungold Photography Jamaica - Wedding Photography - Negril - Montego Bay - Ocho Rios - Kingston Stacey Clarke Photography I did correspond via e-mail with Stacey and she was very sweet and prompt to respond.
  14. Google has re-charged and it is a wonderful thing! Have fun with captions!
  15. Morgan I just had a thought... Maybe the ferret club should invest in some ferret wigs. Think of the fun pictures those would make! We could make millions of $$$$$, ok well maybe at least $50.
  16. Erica you look beautiful! Definitely portfolio material! Your FI is going to freak out! I think I will do BD for our 1 year. Great idea with the Jack Daniels. DH loves Jack and he has claimed "his room" in the new house; it will have a JD theme. Men and interior decorating...
  17. I just checked this again this morning and it's just as funny. I'm laughing like an idiot here in my office! This is a definite pick me up. I think I need to bookmark it!
  18. sounds like just what we need. We bought a house last Friday and money is going to be a little scarce. We need to cut whatever we can! I've stopped my gym donations (because I don't go), transferred some credit card balances to lower intrest cards, and am picking up some side jobs. There is another site Shortcuts.com - FREE Grocery Coupons that link to your grocery card that automatically loads coupons onto your shopping card so you don't have to cut them. I haven't tried this yet but keep meaning to.
  19. Congrats! It sounds really nice. Be sure to post pictures! I'd love to see the chapel.
  20. OMG! I can't believe what people come up with and even make money doing! BabyToupee.com Be sure to check out the gallery!
  21. Welcome! Have fun searching the forum. Be sure to check out the Mexico sub-forums and wedding reviews. Congrats and happy planning!
  22. Congrats and welcome! Having a DW was the best decision I have ever made! How Kosher is his family? I have friends who are very strict at home, but understand that they would be limited if they tried to keep kosher that way everywhere they went. So they will eat vegetarian or fish when they go out. Would his family be willing to modify?
  23. Rebecca your pics are fantastic! I can only imagine how good your pro pics will be. I love your welcome dinner dress, very classy!
  24. Welcome! I have never been to Anguilla, but it looks amazingly beautiful! I can't wait to see what your plans are. It is definitely on our list and I'd love some recommendations.
