  1. I'm all for not exercising, LOL This was an interesting article about inefficient work-outs. I know that I am guilty of a few, so I thought I would pass it along. Let's make every second in the gym count! Exercises You Can Stop Doing - AOL Health
  2. I've got some sad news ladies. Charlie's time in the slammer didn't straighten him out. Looks like it's off to rehab (again).
  3. Why stop at just the live Christmas Tree when you can have a live topper?
  4. So sad. I hate that some people try so hard and go through so much to have babies and then the people who can and don't want them, treat their children like this. I'm a serious advocate for having a license to procreate. If you have to have one to fish, you should have to have one to have a baby!
  5. That sounds like so much fun! what a great group of co-workers!

  7. Wow , I feel really dumb now. I rocked out in math until the 8th grade, then it all went down hill. I remember FOIL and a^2 + b^2 = c^2 and that's about it.
  8. Welcome! having a DW was teh best decision I have ever made! There are lots of all-inclusive resorts that are very reasonable, especially considering what you get for the money. Good luck!
  9. I really just think I want to buy a baby wig, LOL Actually, I would rather come up with a stupid idea where I can sell some ridiculous product for $25 a pop!
  10. That's fine. I would probably stick with the one. If it is your first shopping outing, I don't recommend buying your dress. You won't need to order until December/January so you have time to look around, compare prices, etc. I'd make the day more about having fun especially since it is their first meeting. Have a nice lunch and maybe go for pedis afterwards.

    Hello

You'll find tons of great info here! Good luck and happy planning!
  12. Congrats! It is a huge relief when you get a destination nailed down and can start focusing on the fun little details!
  13. How much fun would that be! I haven't had a slumber party in years, especially at my parents' house. Will your mom make us breakfast? Maybe ferret shaped pancakes?
  14. My MOH is doing a cancer walk in honor of her aunt. I told her she should get the pink one and push her daughter in the stroller!
  15. YAY! I love new baby pictures! She's getting so big! And she is absolutely precious. I can't get over her hair. She doesn't need a baby wig (that was my random internet find yesterday)
  16. I agree, you should add a poll. This is a really tough call! Do either dresses have a train? I like that the Amsale is very unique. I've never seen a dress like it. I have to say the Provinas is more classic and elegant and more my style. I think the single fabric makes you look longer simply because there isn't a break for the skirt like the other one. Both are extremely flattering and gorgeous! My vote is for the Provinas, again based on personal taste. I don't know if I've helped or not! LOL
  17. I'm a die-hard Louisville fan. DH and I are both alums and he played football there. My second team would be Michigan (sorry!) I don't care about basketball, but DH is from Kansas so we have to cheer for the Jayhawks. We cheer for them in football but they haven't done much lately.
  18. Beautiful! That looks a lot like Amy's dress. She had the neckline altered and it looked great!
  19. I agree! I was ready to stand up and cheer in my living room.
  20. I am pretty busty and can still pull off strapless. I agree that #2 would be the most flattering on everyone though. If you are set on that color can you find a similar Alfred Angelo? You could always go for their separates collection and find a top and tea-length skirt. This sizing might also help out your busty girls.
  21. That is how the Zone works. You just have to keep your percentages balanced. You can have a big steak, but you better eat a ton of veggies, LOL
  22. Yeah, I'm checking that out. I've found some recipes, but no serving suggestion. I don't know if that is what you are supposed to consume at one sitting, over the course of the day, or what. I did find another informative site that has a forum. Maybe they can help. Cybermacro - Macrobiotics + Macrobiotic Food - July / August 2008
  23. This one has recipies: Macrobiotic diet basics, recipes, cooking DVD This is a British site, but looks to have some good info: Macrobiotic Guide | Your Essential Guide to Macrobiotics Online I find (and advise clients) that the best thing to do when starting a new eating regiment is to physically write out everything for the first week. Go shopping and get everything you need at once. If the products are handy, you'll be more likely to follow it. This also means you have to get rid of your old foods so you aren't tempted. You can also buy some new tupperware or some type of caontainer and make meals ahead of time and keep them in the fridge so you are only cooking 2 or 3 days per week. Here is a listing (random) about macrobiotic food delivery.Macrobiotic Diet --- Lunch, Dinner Pick Up, Delivery I don't know the cost, but it might help to have food deliver for the first month or so as you learn how to each, etc. This is one thing I do for my clients. I've had a few ask about macrobiotics but I've never done it. Most are vegetarian, diabetic, heart healthy, bariatric, etc. Keep me posted on what you find!
  24. This wikipedia article isn't bad as an overview. The citations at the end might lead you to some good resources. Macrobiotic diet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I'll keep checking to see what I can find!
